my first grow in Alaska

well gang, i am at it again.. :thumbsup:

i wont be able to post any pics , unless i somehow aquire a digi. but i will update my info as i grow along. :roll:

i gremmed 3 each of the following :
Northern Lights, Orange Lights, Super Silver Haze & Mawi Wowie.

all 3 N.L.'s put out tap roots. & are currently doing ok. 1 has already shot its roots thru the rock wool plug. WooHoo.. the others are still going .

2 of the O.L. put out tap roots, but have since failed to do anything else. the 3rd bean is still in the dish & towel.

the Super Silver Haze 2 have popped tap roots & are going well. the 3rd bean is still in dish & towel.

the Maui i just started 2 days ago, & am still waiting on the tap roots to pop out.

i'll keep U folks informed as it goes along. wish me luck ! :D :rasta2:

& for those who don't know my methods.

i grow in Rock wool, hand water my plants 2 to 5x a day depending upon how often i am home.

i have 3 lamps ...
For vegging i use a Max Light 125 full spec flo.

& flowering a : 400 & 150 HPS , & the Max Light 125 full spec flo.


& i grow in a closet. :blazed: :D : p

we have a ground cover of snow. but its more like ice.. temps are a balmy -9f. & i know the feeling on the gig. mine ran out & i am again looking...

well , its been a week since i first posted.

the Northern Lights are kicking ass. i've transplanted all 3 into larger rockwool cubes.

the orange lights didn't make it. all 3 got trashed. :eek:
so i startedup some more. :D : p

none of the Maui Wowie made it either. :rock:

so i started up some more. they are Super Silver Haze, & all 3 are already in rockwool cubes.

i'll keep U guys & gals updated as i go along...

hey Weedgirl , sadly the Maui Wowie didn't make it. only 1 seed put out a tap root. & that one didn't take. so i started up some others. i will update in a few days how they are doing...

week 3 is over & into week 4 of vegging is going along great. total of 6 plants , all have 5 to 6 sets of leaves. all are about 3 & 1/2 inches tall. nice & compact... :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Nice Kenny! Can't wait to see your SSH. I just ordered some today. Are you gonna veg or go straight to 12/12 with her. I have seen SSH grown straight from 12/12 finish around 7'.

I got a new digi video camera that takes still shots....but they arent as good as the digi camera.

So im asking for a new 5 mega pixel from santa...so if that happens ill get ya my old one....maybe doorstep delivery.

well it looks like i am gonna wind up with 3 little ladies. the other night i noticed a light leak comming into the room. but i was 2 late. 2 of my plants started showing balls. but hey i aint complainning. i'll just start up some more ! :rasta2:

well its been 45 days today since i started flowering, i've made a few rookie mistakes, when i should have known better. :eek: but the saying is U learn by your mistakes. & i did , i did learn a few things. :thumbsup:

my next batch will be bigger & better, my totals for this grow are about 1 & 1/2 oz from 3 plants. not a great job, but somes better then none ...
