Hello everyone.
In many places the last frost is long gone and it is time to get ready for the great outdoors again. Here is a little method I use to get the plants outdoors for the summer growing/breeding season. I start them off in a simple ebb and flow system and transplant them into organics before they leave for outdoors. I start with 30 plants under a 400wattHPS and have them ready within the first two to four weeks to be moved outdoors and ready to go for a long summer haul.

The wheels are greased and the chickens are laying... it is time indeed.

it is time to find the perfect spot. One not to far from water and well of the beaten bath and even off the unbeaten path. Remember it is summertime and the kids are out playing with their dirt bikes and 4 wheelers and even though you have your "No Tresspassing" sings posted still does not stop an adventurous and wild youth :D or someone who is looking for the ladies in general. Security is always priority number # 1. My policy is "if I show one person my outdoor grow then I have jeapordized my whole carreer" it's that simple. Only 2 people and two people only have ever been to my outdoor grow area since 1994. I am one and the other is the land owner and does not have children or even smoke. I pay him for the summer lease and he tends to my girls during the week and I visit them on the weekends. there is nothing better than setting up a tent and camping in the privy of your ladies and spending quality outdoor time with them. I think this stems from my days of guarding the Arkansas pine mountian 50 acre plot. In my younger years I would be taken to a "disclosed location" and left to guard a patch with a couple of thermous' , a sleeping bag a couple of candy bars and a 12 guage pump over my shoulder. I never had to use it but I would of. I was a restless youth too :D

lets find a good place ......

still the best nutes money can or can't buy although this is a little on the hot side. Wait a month or so and you will get much better results ....however this could all be simple BS to begin with :D It is good stuff but make sure your help understands what organic tea is and don't let them take a swig out of the trash can like they would some ole sour mash  :D it does tase a bit different and that is no BS :pimp:

How sweet it is. Another crossroad ? no, we have arrived and this is where I ask you to leave your cameras behind. :D

meanwhile.... back at the Ranch
there is work to be done and plants to sex and males to choose and even more transplanting. I will run this rotation until I have my 30 chosen females and my chosen males for pollination.

14 days of 24-7 lights on and 14 days of 12-12 and she is ready for the ODs.
http://www.annac.me.uk/od/od7.jpg
I used a different pic than than from original post and changed the bloom time the plant had been in bloom for. this plant had been in a week longer and you can she that she is starting to flower. She will go back into the veg mode after they go under the veg light another week before going outside.

layer 1 is old growrocks that are being recycled and used now as a bottom based breathing material and the soil is added on top of that to about 1/3 full creating a small second layer.
http://www.annac.me.uk/od/od8.jpg

I take and gently remove the plant from it's container and use the growrocks again for a 3rd layer and set the plant down on top of the growrocks that were the medium for it in the hydro container.
(be extremly carefull and don't break a plant when flipping her over)

the growrocks contain the nutes that the plant are use to and this will lessen any chances of shock that might enter into the picture.

fill her back up nice and gently and give her loving support along the way.
I always tell mine that they are very special because they are choosen to see the real world and are not closet queens  . They seem to like the encouragment. hhhhhmmmmmmmmm :p This baby will now go back into a 24-7 regiment for 7 days and then she will be moved outdoors.

here is a shot of my mighty home organic tea machine. You don't wan't to drink this tea either and never boil it or let it stew overnight either it makes for a hard scraping of the pot and makes your food taste funny for a week or two  ;)

this is a simple way to get allot of girls outside and leave all the guesswork inside under the privacy of your own domain. There is a risk when transporting them outdoors but if you are mature in all things (and we all are here :D ) then you will do this the right way and it will not even be bothersome in anyway whatsoever. Whatever your method of transport is make it as safe and secure as you possibly can. There are many approachable methods to this action and I will leave that to your own discression. Outdoor growing cannot be touched by the indoors. I love them both but there is indeed something special about seeing that lady glisten in the sunlight and sparkle like diamonds under a full moon right before a full moon harvest that you have awaited for sacredly and religously. It is magical indeed. Peace and serinity at it's best.

more to come as the months progress. I will see you there in the great Outdoors.
sincerely

<~~~is so excited about growing outdoors this year! Already picked out my site on my property ....now I just need to be patient & wait for the frost to leave for good! Also need to order seeds this week.....still undecided to what strains I want to grow being I am in the NE but I have narrowed it down to a couple. :D

Why yes indeed they are. I think a chicken may be smarter than a Guinea but they serve their purpose on the farm and make pretty good eating for the poor folks come thanksgiving. You can put a fake tail on one and call it a turkey and a redneck won't notice the difference. I should know..I stuffed a few myself.

Yer i agree a chicken maybe smarter, but the chickens know better than to mess with a guinea fowl lol. Our minature foxies won't even mess with a cranky guinea fowl hehe.

Love the watering hole...very well camourflaged :ebert:

I have a guinea hen that was raised with our chickens....yes they are fiesty but sweet as well. Now the roosters do not even mess with her...she is the PMS queen and will cackle her head off if things do not go her way in the coop. One thing guineas are good at is....warning when there is danger & also eating those tasty ticks we all hate. :D

My wife's aunt and uncle have about 30 of them, they told me that they are not real good "mother's",so when they want guinea chick's,they put the egg's under the chook's/hen's to incubate.
