time stamps

I am noticing that the time stamps are all screwed up. I set mine for Pacific time and it is 8 hours off. Had to set it for London time just to be accurate. What gives? Also.....I just made a post and it put my post BEFORE the final post in the thread. How weird is that!? Think it had to do with the time as well for some reason and thought my post should have been placed before. Just a guess really but WAY strange.
