IF a young person WANTS to join the military it is a strictly personal decision. NOT BECAUSE RECRUITERS are in your face. They have their shot when young men have to register for the draft. After that I think it should be off limits other than mailing items etc.

If a University is subject to LAWS THAT MAKE THEM ALLOW RECRUITERS ON CAMPUS then what about people who have families on Medicare? SHould they be FORCED TO ALLOW recruiters in their house? What about businesses who get a federal grant? Will they one day BY LAW HAVE TO entertain miltary recruiters? The tone of this sets a horrible premise. Basically ANYONE who accepts Federal money could be subject to this kind of treatment under the law. Do public schools HAVE to allow them in, while students of PRIVATE school do not? What about Privately funded Universities. If I was a student and I was approached by a recruiter while on campus or anywhere for that matter and I did not arrange for it. They are getting cussed straight the fuck out. If they came to my classroom I would leave and give them the bird on the way out!

FUCK recruiters! They are the pansy's that could not hack it anyway. I know I have seen them first hand when I was on active duty. They are career suck asses and can't hack combat duty. Hell most of them could not pass a simple PT test!!!

Look...its simple....if a college excepts federal funds from the government....they also are subject to having recruiters on campus.
If they(college) dont like it....get money from somewhere else.

The bottom line is....no one makes college students sign up but themselves. Ive had recruiters come to high school(back in the day) I had no problem telling them to fuck off.

See I went voluntarily and knew I was gonna go. I CALLED THE RECRUITER they did not call me. See the difference Tibereeza Rice and SFC. If not then go back to school. Once again slapped around because you dont know what you are talking about.

I am saying that Medicare patients have GRANDKIDS, it is funny you picked one thing yet again and failed to address, federal businees grants, Public schools vs private, private Unviersities vs public. In fact what about Federal School loans will they require students who use federal money for school to HAVE TO listen to some recruiter talk to them? You dont see recruiters going to Harvard, Yale, Princeton do you? What it says to me is if your rich you dont have to listen. Ok I was told by a Navy recruiter that I would NEVER have ocean duty LOL.
The bonus they promise is they give you a partial bonus after you grduate basic and then the rest after YOU FINISH YOUR TERM OF ENLISTMENT. Which is 4 years later.

GI Bill is 430.00 per month for 1 year. ( How exactly does that pay for college?)

You will move up as fast as you want to. WRONG There are promotion boards, leadership schools that you have to go to and they have to be approved by your commander and 1st Sergeant.

You can get all the training you want. WRONG Your CO and Platoon Leader have to approve for you to go then YOUR Unit has to pay for that training out of their budget.

There are many schools that you cannot go to unless you are a certain rank and then once again see the above approval process.

You will NEVER get your station of choice, just forget it. The only way you get its if you accidently get orders for it.

Stoploss means you are extended for 18 months AFTER you are supposed to get out of the ALL VOLUNTEER ARMED FORCES. Then they do it again for another and another and another etc. Till you die or they are done with you.

If your wife writes a bad check while you are in the field YOU LOSE YOUR rank because you are responsible for them PERIOD. Also YOU HAVE TO HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT PERIOD. Your spouse HAS TO BE ON YOUR ACCOUNT under military law. SO yes you have to put them on the account, if they write a bad check YOU have to go to classes and you lose rank and money.

They will lie to you about the available MOS (jobs) that they have for you because they get more points or whatever it is they get for filling certain jobs first.

If you sign the papers and then decide you dont want togo they will threaten you. Tell them to FUCK OFF you have the right to terminate that peice of paper ANYTIME and no you cannot be DISHONORABLY DISCHARGED YOU WERE NEVER IN THE MILITARY you have to graduate basic training for that.

In fact you can quit during basic training. You ARE NOT IN THE MILITARY YET so there is no such thing as AWOL or DESERTION it is all one big mind fuck.

On top of that you don't reach veteran status until 6 months after you enlist..Any time you decide to leave before that is is called an ELS Entry level seperation.. They will say its a dishonorable discharge and what not and its just not true...

They will tell you any lie your willing to listen to about the MOS they want you to sign under... I scored very high on my Asvab and i wanted infantry...i had people showing up at my job trying to take me to lunch SEVERAL times (almost to the point of me losing my job) trying to get me to sign on to our nuke program... People from other branches that i had never approached....My recruiter paid for my Detox kit to pass the drug screening...After i got in a realised all the lies and fought like hell to get what i wanted it was a mute point i was at thier whim really because my alternative was being homeless jobless and pennyless...So it was either stay and stick it out or go home and start ALL over again.....They do not care about anything but thier Quota...i was a volunteer and i approached them and they still gave me the shaft

See the 50,000 troops they have involuntarily extended for 18 months using operation stop loss in the Gulf right now. EVERONE of these soldiers will be extended again involuntarily if they dont fill their quotas recruiting this year. THEN comes the draft, all prior service go first they just raised the minimum age to 40 from 35. Get ready it is gonna happen folks the draft will be re-instated at the end of this year or the beginning of next year. Right after we invade Iran.
