um, no we wouldn't be speaking German. :roll: same with WWI. the USA was not expected to join into the war. during WWII , the United States supplied almost the entire war effort at the end. we can out produce anyone... we have our own natural resources.

There was thing that lead to the Allies victory in WWII Hitler advanced too fast and did not stop to secure the countries he had already taken. If he had he could have drawn the war out for years. Then he could have advanced much more slowly making the world a MUCH MUCH different place than it is today. He outclassed us in technology, weaponry and armor. The allies really had no hope of winning unless he made a mistake and he did. The allies capitalized on it and the rest is history.

The other thing about out producing people and using it to define predicted victory etc. It does not work like that. Viet Nam, Korea and now Iraq. I am sure we could outproduce them easily BUT we still are 0-2-1 in those wars.
