washing up liquid and water mixed, then spray ya plant. They breath through slits in their backs see, and the washin up liquid coats em, they suffocate, poor blighters. Works a treat

Also, ladybirds eat em all day long, ya can buy em for ya grow room or whatever in lil box's.

First of all Aphids don't fly>>Ants usually farm them. If U have aphids U have ants<< as U are in chilly mouldy tassie I suggest u cover your plants at night from frost and cold> As for the aphids<< phyrythrum based spray or as was suggested a diluted ie 1 teaspoon dish detergent per litre of water warm water sprayed lightly on the insects<< if the insects U say are flyers probably U have fungus gnats>>these are soil born but spead rust etc<,douse the soil around your mullies with fungicide ie lime sulphur! make sure there's no wind either<<use a mask and gloves with chemicals I have suggessted low toxic ones. ps mine are finished<<cheers!

 yes herb, like tantric says, dish detergent :D Forgot not everyone is a UKer!!!! Wont harm your plants at all either ;)

Adults do however have wings, and they know how to use the damn things too!

hotshot pest strips work great man,, change every 3 monthes,, also the black and decker ultrasounds work as long as you use enough,, if you have a bigger room use 2,,, good luck...
