this is my second attempt, i managed to save one healthy dutch passion power plant from the cats and cloned it without sexing. i jogged the clones and (thank god) the mom turned out to be female. these shots are from day 42 (4/21)

i think i got the hang of this whole "growing pot" thing :icon_smil

btw this grow is at a friends house so i am (sadly) splitting the bud, but more importantly that isnt my shower. gross. :eek: i was afraid for them to touch anything while flushing friday :lol:

let me tell you, it is hard as hell smoking these harsh ass mids, with 8+ ounces of the best pot i ever smoked coming down the home stretch just down the road...

i went over there today and the smell is out of control. like, very noticable standing outside his front door. after much consideration, ive decided id much rather have buds that are a week premature (there are a few amber trikes and lots of milky ones) than risk having the neighbors/landlord catch a whiff when walking by and turning us in.

since it is only day 45 im only taking one down tonight. then ill take two more friday, another 2 sunday and the mother plant will have to wait until next tuesday or wednesday because she was flushed later than the others.

hopefully as i take plants out the smell with die down, or at least it wont get any worse. i am definitely regretting the decision not to build a charcoal scrubber but its far too late for that now.

im very satisfied with the yield, but concerned about all these seeds. must have had several hidden bananas around to make that many...last time there were only three for my whole (much smaller) crop.

since all the plants in this grow are clones of the mother, these seeds are a product of a female plant herming and then impregnating itself essentially. i seem to recall hearing that this will make them infertile...or is that how they make feminized seeds? could someone please clear this up for me, id like to know if these are any good.

had a very, very close call with the landlord over there and had to take it all down tuesday night. my partner is out of town, and the landlord called him standing at his front door and asked to enter. he said no of course, because the second you walked in the door you saw the orange glow. so the landlord gave him his 24 hour notice kind of angrily and hung up. that meant i got to enjoy a long, panicked evening of hacking apart pot plants and dismantling the whole grow, all the while wondering if the landlord was on to us and the cops were waiting out front for me to stroll out with over a pound of freshly cut weed.

thankfully im just paranoid as fuck and everything went smoothly. i went back later that night. all the grow supplies were mine so i took them, only the fans were his and i did my best to put them all around the house to avoid suspicion. i even picked up most of the dead fan leaves that were shed when i chopped the plants apart. the landlord went in there the next day, fixed whatever, and everything is fine. day 51 is still early, but at least we got away with it.

thats it for this grow, the next should be up and running in about a week. got a new partner and a new spot with much better stealth. carbon filter, light-tight, stealthy box, etc. :rasta2:

its a lot better to have some early bud than be sitting in jail. nice looking girls, too bad they had to go so soon :lite:
