What is your favorite season and why?

Personally , I love fall...not too hot, the crisp night air cooling the sunburn you got during the day, not to mention the smell of burning leaves....

Spring time.

These two babies popped in and have been hangin around the house. I have been runnin out handfulls of dry pot leafs and feedin them. They love it. I know because they keep comin back.

This is our time to come out of winter....everything will be in bloom and greener than the amazon in a month.

This year I will be prepared. I have an electric fence that I will be putting around my garden. But the majority of my veggies will go in the greenhouse....and I just need to patch up some spots on it that got blown away this winter.
The only reason I feed these two is because their mom isnt around. Sure they already know what to eat....but I kinda feel bad that they are by themselves. And when it really boils down to it, I cant get pissed at them for eatin my garden....they were here first....its their land...not mine! But i wont be shootin em with my BB gun this year...Ill let the new electric fence deal with them. ZAPPPPPP

DUJ, the midwest gets perfect weather in the fall. You hit it right on the head, warm during the day, cool at night. All the colors in the trees, and yes the smell of burning leaves is unmistakable.

Real nice tibs, give em a taste of the herb, get em wantin more, then start shockin em with your fence. i think PETA might be knockin on your door soon :D JK.

:roll: I'd only have to contend with gophers here. Been rolling the idea around of using a 'worm extractor' on the gophers. It's a 120v setup with two electrodes that ya stab into the ground to force the worms out. Might just force them gopher bastards out too! When they come out I can use the bb gun. :D

My favorite season would have to be winter. I hate hot weather and it gets HOT here. The winters here are fairly mild and a welcome relief to the heat of summer. Spring and fall don't last long here I'm afraid.....maybe a month for each.

The fall, and then winter is a close second. Really I like them all, that is what is so great about the midwest, we get a strong dose of all four seasons. I am however jealous as hell of the paradise you live in Tibs

Cant choose just one theyre all nice in their own way but if I had to choose just one it would be spring not too hot not too cold feels just right.

Spring is my favorite time of year except for the allergies. Nature comes to life and the depressing short cold days are ending. If i was an outdoor grower then fall would be of course.

Well its hard to put a finger on it. Better then steak, but more like venison. But not as gamey as venison. More of a stringy type of meat...kinda grainy. But damn its good. Less fatty too.

I prefer winter, it's easier to snuggle up than it is to cool down....

I love all 4 seasons we have.....guess by the time each one is coming to an end I am ready to embrace the next one. Winter is fun with snowmobiling and playing in the snow but I was ready for spring when it arrived.
Yah Summer is hot but havin a pool to go play in and soaking up the rays I find it a blast. Now I will admit I have to be near water in the summer...if not well I am cranky! :p
