Notice how they dont mention the cost of disposing of the remaining salt and minerals...Cool idea though as long as you dispose of the salt properly otherwise the soil around you will be screwed

yea i cant imagine how often the pads need to be changed. thats the biggest set back i think. Always needing new condensation pads to run the salt water through.

maybe its possible to clean the salt off the pads for re-use... i dunno whatever it takes its going to be hard work.

otherwise i think its a solid idea for helping aird nations develop water and crops in what would otherwise be desert.
