Ok ppl,im moving house this week to a much bigger place(im gonna become a dad for 1st time so it was essential to move) and there is a large box room that could ALMOST be described as a small bedroom.
In case none y'all dont know,iv always been an indoor grower and done mostly closet grows(most running at one time was 3 closet grows) using a 600w hps set up with airhood(Ghostwing pro, added airhood seperate),but now im gonna have all this space im wondering, just HOW MANY plants i can grow in a box room(its a square room, like a small bedroom),the height is basically the height of my ceilings so around 13-15ft high and the width or length of the width of the 4 walls is approx 3-4 metres.
How many plants:icon_smil or clones can i grow in a room this size at once with only the one set of 600w hps and the reflector for the whole room.Iv got plenty fans and a little ventilation hole in the wall to the outside. But this is in a populated hood and this room is RIGHT at my front door, plus iv been told that if you grow anymore than 12 plants then your whole house will stink(is this true?I usually grow in 4's)so im wondering what would be a safe amount of clones/plants to be growing in the room at once?
I might even end up going hydro..not my 1st grow of 2007 but by autumn time i might be ready to become a competant hydro grower.
I know there are carbon filter type things i can use but iv never thought of growing so many plants/clones in one room before(im thinking approx. 20 plants),but iv been given s/african native strains just brought back from s/afrcia,they are all 100% unhybridised sativas(swazi,d/poison and transkei)
This is a first for me,iv mostly always grown indica dom plants but these are pure sativa aswell as being outdoor strains so will i come across problems in that area as im growing indoors?
What tricks or tips do y'all use for grows of over 20 plants to hide the smell from neighbours or passing strangers?I also have grapfruit to grow and planning to grow white rhino all in the same grow room.do y'all see problems ahead for me masking the smell of so many plants?(pure strains at that):peace:
