Heres a little Isopropyl hash i made out of some bud trimmings. 2 jars worth, and i still have quite a bit of high quality trim to do, thinking about making honey oil though, i know its better i am just lazy. iso hash is the easiest since u really only need alcohol that you can get anywhere, and easier to work with than honey oil. this little ball will last me a month or two of heavy smoking :bongdude:

I did it like that too ghost. Except I used Everclear. It was pretty good.....but I have since moved up to making bubble hash. It is much easier to use and and no heat involved. Actually...I havent done it yet but im going to when I chop a few more down and get more trim.

Lookin good ghost....how ya smokin it?

nice ghost! i just made some honey oil like an hour ago. Very messy. i'll give you an update on the smoke later tonight. I am curious as to what your process is for your hash. I too will eventually suck it up and buy some bubble bags, the damn things are sooooo expensive.

simple nesta, just take a quart mason jar and fill it with trim or bud or whatever. pour in a bottle of alcohol and shake it vigorously for 2 min. exactly. then strain it through a coffee filter and cook it on a glass plate or pan sitting on top of boiling water like in my picture, i do this until all the liquid has evaporated then i let it sit overnight and scrape off the gooey stuff and roll it up into a ball

..what ya' have there GD, is a very basic, so called Hash oil, not Hash.
The iso extracts all essential oils from the plant matter, including chlorophyl. Hash consists of only trichomes, from the exterior of the plant.
I began making iso oil in the exact fashon that you use, then I developed myself a little "still", to purify and recover my iso, then started water washing the trim prior to iso soak. (water washes a significant amount of sugars and chlorophyl out, improving the quality). All the time tweaking to improve on the process. I got some pretty fare product, but.....THEN I borrowd a set of bubble-bags. Now I own my own, and hopefully, will never have the need to revert.
Believe me when I say that I have made enough of that oil to paint a small city from the suburbs plumb to the docks, and they are two very different products.
