this shit comes on only one strain. 2 plants from last grow, 4 plants this grow. strain is jimmi, look at the bud shot. @ 6 weeks flower

That's powdery mildew Newf. Bad shit man, and can kill your plants VERY quickly if not nipped in the bud. I say chop the bastards if you are close to harvest because given time (and doesn't tkae long) the mildew will creep into your buds and ruin the whole thing. I've dealt with the stuff in the path and only thing I found to get rid of it was a sulfer spray. That's one thing I hope I never see in my grow ever again. It's THAT bad IMO. Try to get your humidity levels down as low as you can too. Good luck man.

i had this last grow,, its not all that bad guys, safers defender helps it alot. this is the last grow in this room and its getting torn down so, i wont be going for a sulphur burner. i never got it in the buds either, just on leaves..

the thing is why only this strain?????

I had 4 strains going in the same grow and one out of 4 had no sign of the stuff while the others were being consumed before my eyes. Some strains are resistant whereas others are not. Genetics my man.

yep,, i had 4 strains last grow,, only this one had the shit,, came on about the same time too,,, oh well, i held it off last grow, ill do it again. the room is being torn down after this grow anyway,, so i dont need to clean the shit out of it,lol..

bear in mind the humidity issues when construction begins
humidity is the biggest {only?} cause of mold that i know of

get a sulpher (SP?) burner it will kill that shit and not harm your buds it is the oldest method in the world for killing it and it works. check the FAQ i have a video in there that shows you how.

it looks alot like the white stuff I see on mine. Is there a product that is sulfer based they sell at home depot? I live in the sticks and never get a chance to go to grow stores. Or even an online place would be cool thanks:pimp:

The super breeders have come up with some kick ass weed potency wise.Now they need to breed them so they are more deises resistant.Like Sparky said he had 4 plants and one didn't get it.That strain must be resistant to white mildew and that could be taken and breed in with other resistant strains.I have grown outside for years and always had a scale problem.I grew some Haze phoneme last year that was grown in the same spot as before and got no scale but because it took so long to flower it was still flowering when we hit out fall rainy season .If I could get a strain that is mold/white fly/scale resistant that had a shorter flowering period but still gets your mind and heart racing like the Haze I would love it.
