There is a poll right now on whether to kick me out or let me stay to help others grow pot.

Personally, I don't get it.
There are a few people at another site whose posts I would rather not read, so I don't. Problem solved.

And at least 2 of the people who are spear-heading this drive to kick me out are people I either got along well with @GK (never a cross word) and another is someone who I think I posted once or twice on their threads, that's it.

Over 90% of my posts @GK are cultivation-related. I some weeks put in up to 20 hours helping newbies and swappping tips with vets. That's what I do; it's who I am.

I hope those who welcomed me and don't mind me sticking around to help will go to the poll (in annoucements) and vote to allow me to remain.

ranger was banned at gk and og he whined his way back in to gk after a threat to take all of his posts down. i do not recall sparky ever being banned anywhere or wanting to take his toys and not play nice.

I really don't see how RD's "past" experience at other sites should affect him here. That's crazy...at least until he shows us otherwise. Convicting a man who hasn't committed any crimes is not fair. Again, my 2 cents no harm intented to anyone I'm simply seeing the obvious.

I'm not the biggest RD fan either. "IMO", he is pretty closed minded and a bit pretentious at times, and I too wouldn't mind seeing some of RD's work. But on the other hand, anyone can find a picture to steal and post.
Ranger provides a certain amount of ..colour'..shall we say, to the site. I'm also prone to believe that he has tutored a quite a few newbies on cultivation, but have at times wondered about his motivation for it. Most of his advise seems sound, and he has given me a "tip-r-two". But there has been a point or two that I found....highly questionable.
I'm gonna' sit the fence on this one. Personally, I don't have a dog in this fight. But, I do feel, unless it is going to be an "invitation only" site, with some kind of security at the door, before you are allowed access, we're only asking for an onslaught of problems.....all being only my opinion..

Points:
-I was NOT banned @OG, I left voluntarily.
-When I decieded to leave GK (again, voluntarily), I had planned to take my "furnature" (FAQ's) with me to my new place, that's all. I reconsidered and never tried to delete them. At THAT point, webby locked me out but let me back in, same name and all, when I re-joined (due to many people asking me to return).
-As for my growing ability, I HAVE posted pics of my grows. Look in Pot Shots @GK and look at the 12' plants I showed a friend how to grow. And there are a few more pics of my grows somewhere @GK. Experienced growers who read my posts KNOW I know what I'm talking about. I will match my growing ability against ANYONE'S.
-Since I returned to GK, I've avoided getting into all the shit-slingingfests. I don't even post in Politics anymore. I put several GK members on ignore and simply don't read/don't respond to them.
-To hear people say they left GK because of me is a real laugh. I've been back since Oct. or Nov. and I'm so terrible they waited until April to leave?

Why is everyone pointing a finger at me here? I'm not the only one that can't stand ranger and I was not making a stink about it...just moving on. I've had my fill of the buillshit that ranger drags with him. Am I so bad for wanting to get as far away from it as I can? I'm not slinging shit his way or even trying to start a fight about it. I simply want to leave if he stays. I'm sorry but I gave ranger the benefit of the doubt way too many times already and just don't have it in me to do again. He burnt his bridge with me long ago. I did stay around GK after his return to see how things went and I found that even though he speaks more quietly it's what's going on behind closed doors with other members he is aquainted with that I don't care for. Many of you have NO clue about this man other than the face he puts on to gain favor. That's fine...got no problem with that, but I do have a problem and I can't let it go. That's on me and I need to deal with it(which I am doing BTW)...not you guys. If you have a problem with ranger yourself then that's on you. If I wanted to hash this out it would be ugly believe that. No...I am not gunning for ranger...just sick of his ways and would rather not have to see them on a daily basis. I have tried on numerous ocasions at GK to make peace with herbsparky but he's rejected every one.

sparky says he will leave if I stay.
I left GK last summer because of crap by certain members and death threats from one in particular.
When I came back to GK I, for the most part, refused to get into shit-slinging. I elevated myself above the petty bickering and I suggest sparky do the same.
We are all united by a common purpose--to grow pot and help others do the same.
That's what I'm going to do.

This is for sparky: I have nothing against you. I think you're a bit too tightly wound but that's no biggie.
If I stay, I'd like you to stay.
You're a knowledgable grower and you help people, which makes you a-ok in my book.

Herbsparky, I met you very early on in my getting to know my way around GK...same applies to Danger...both individuals instrumental in offering sound advice...or constructive criticism...and I felt like these two were cut from the same cloth...always willing to lend a helping hand type of folk...so this issue...of which I know nothing about...and won't pretend to...this issue of one roof not being capable of housing two helpful and generally speaking kind people...doesn't make sense...and should not continue...this is no way for adults to act...for chist's sake, people...and Herb...I know you will find this hard to chew on...but I hope coming from me you will understand that I say this for the positive aspect of hoping you will find my insight enlightening...and useful...but I have learned in this life that to not forgive a person for whatever their transgression may have been against you...in doing that...all you do is create your own personal hell...I mean think about it...Herb...say for whatever reason you may have...you will not remain if Danger remains...well at the end of the day...who's the one most effected by that response...Herb...I think you would agree...it's would be you...cuz' if you leave out of disgust...Danger stays...and he won't mind....that yer' gone...so it don't affect him...so my point is this...it is an exercise in futility, when trying to prove a point by telliong someone you cannot ever trust them again or forgive them for something they done...at the end of the day...it's just not mentally healthy...and Herb, and Danger...you guys are two useful around here to forego it cuz' you can't let it go...I know Danger...you offered the olive branch...I am saying I think more Gker's should get off their asses and speak their minds...not this one line tap-dancing...let these two senior members from another site know how you feel about them "Staying"...blend...if it's at all possible...geez!...what a pleasant day to come back to after my U2 nights in Denver...DC :rolleyes:

Yes Daze you are right and I agree 100% with all you said. I KNOW I have to deal with this on my own. Been working on it a long time now believe it or not, but I can't make myself forgive and forget by snapping my fingers. If i could I would be perfect and I know for sure I'm not that at all. Only time heals some wounds and I have found that by being in the presence of ranger doesn't allow for my healing to take place...only serves to keep the wound open and festering. Some things are easy to forgive and some aren't...least for me, but don't think for a second i am being hardheaded about this and crossing my arms while I stamp my feet. To be honest I am TRYING to find a way to find forgiveness and give trust, but i have to do that in seclusion. That's just me. I took a HELL of a lot of shit at GK and can't handle any more. Hopes that get's into people's heads. Think about it for a second and put yourself in my shoes for a bit. My back is broken...it's gotta heal now.

Kiwi, the death threats I recieved were because of my anti-war stance, from my posts in politics forums, which I no longer post at.
Well, I still post in political forums, but the heavily moderated ones at other non-cultivation sites.

Apparently, making death threats make some people feel like big shots.

Btw, on 2 of those occasions I offered to meet up with the wing-nuts in Arcata (near where I live), but they never accepted, which of course I knew.
