A new undertaking

Well, I chopped down my last two mandala plants a couple days ago. They are drying as we speak. However i left some stumps and plenty of foliage on them so they can get going again.

This grow I went with some different nutes as I need something a bit stronger then the metas. So this time it's dynagrow..not very organic nutes lol. But it's what i chose. The pH of the medium is 6.5 -6.6.Lights are flipped back to 18/6, plants were given some Grow nutrients, and they are on their way back to veg.

The clones are also doing well. They are greening up and putting on new growth too. I will be moving everything to the new grow box within the next week or so. I just gotta wait till my buds are dry.

Anyways I will take some pics of them all soon. Let's see if we can't get a round 2 out of these testers, and get these clones going well. Thanks SFC for the advice earlier...:thumbsup:

no not yet. I really didn't even want to get another grow going right now and i was low on cashola lol. So i got the dynagrow. It should be fine for this one grow, as i got the smallest bottles possible.the 1 pint bottles i think. Anyways, I want to see what the plants will do with stronger nutes for this next grow under the screen.


The meta's didn't have enough N in them.
I should of just bought the 16-0-0 but shit man, i would have spent alot on their line again and i just couldn't afford it this go round.This is def not a permanant change as i love my organics, but even PBP is just too damn expensive for me right now.

Yup the metas are very mild. Consider this, PBP is a one part stand alone nutrient. Not sure if you are throwing a bunch of other addatives into your mix? But with the PBP you wont need to waste cash on buying other necesery supplements. Just some Cal-Mag and you will have yourself the healthiest of grows. Just my thought Mikey. I consistantly read the same problems with peoples grows. Nutrient lockout, overfert/burn etc etc.. Dumping unnecessary addatives in your grow is another common problem.. All this heart ache can be prevented if they would use the right shit.

I don't use any additives, other than when i used the meta's they came in a 3 part system.. 4 parts if you buy the Nitrogen formula..

Grow 3-3-3, Bloom 1-5-5, Calcium(they don't add this to the nutes for some reason:rolleyes:), and Nitrogen 16-0-0.

The PBP has a Grow and Bloom formula if im not mistaken, but they are 18$ a bottle too. I don't use alot of additives though, they are really mostly useless ;).

I just figured that I would drop in on my new thread and get it started off right.
Here we have 3 Dragon's Breath seedlings (SourDieselv3 x AK47) thanks bro (you know who you are )...

Also we have 3 clones here, one is doing perfect as it's just bushy as shit already and the other two well the pics explain themselves. Ph is perfect 6.7-6.8.. lights are on 18/6.........temps are @ 70F... everything is going well cept for the funky growth...

any thoughts appreciated.
The seedlings have a little stretch in the stems, but it shouldn't get any worse ...I can't wait to see these ladies under the scrog.. anyways until next time.

the plants are doing great. The seedlings are also kicking butt... things are moving along quickly now and within 3 weeks i should have a screen in place.The seedlings are growing fast, and have neon green growth tips.. They are already started their 3 leaf sets.

I am ecstatic about these DB seedlings and can't wait to see a female out of the bunch. More than likely they will get flowering induced far before alternating nodes, but all i want is to test it out .. before a full grow through of it.

The 3 seedlings are growing OK i guess.. one of em has some problems but we'll see if it comes out of it.. if not, then i will cull it and start over maybe with some lowryder or something :)

Well i figured that I would drop in with some updates on the plants. The seedlings are no longer seedlings, and the clones are growing into some fine bushes.

The lights were flipped a couple days ago, and I still need to go find some screen. however if I dont' get to that this go round I am sure I will yeild fine off these ladies.

Anyways, here are some updated pics. The DB hasn't shown sex yet, and I doubt they will for a week or two, due to them being immature when i flipped the lights. The clones are fems of course, and everything is doing a-ok.

The Db's have some weird leaf growth but other than that no problems. Anyways, so here they are.

Lots of good growth. I forget how long they have been on 12/12 but these are slow starters when it comes to blooming as their mothers were also. The two Db hasnt' shown sex yet, due to them not being mature enough yet.. they were still seedlings when i flipped to 12/12.

Anyways the clones are beginning to step up pistil production slightly... in 2-3 weeks we should start seeing some REAL action here... anyways just more growth. Plants are filling out after the stretch.

I went ahead and LST'd instead of scrogging.. No reason other than i didn't feel like going and buying screen.

Anyways plants were heavily LST'd the other night 3 nights or so ago....

I got 1 male with some decent macros' of the flower clusters.It's one of the DB of course.

The other DB looks like it might be female but hasn't lifted yet.

the bags are strong... ad i just poke or burn holes in the sides 1/4 of the way down or so and tie to that. I dont' reuse my bags and they will prob be tore up by the end of this grow. But really all i need the ties and bag to last in one grow .. at the price of 10 for a 1.50$ they are cheap enough to replace everytime.


Anyways. i just use jute twine and holes in the bag. Works perfect.

A little update. I cut the male this morning . And i have my lowryder seeds in the paper towels germing.I think i am just giong to grow the lowryder in 1 gal bags. I just want a sample off em. Anyways. I will update in a few days or so.

Pics... My remaining DB is a female. So out of three seeds planted. Two made it and one was a male.

The rest of the ladies are doing fine, and i have one sprout of lowryder above the soil. I have to go get a new 250 HPS tonight as mine is losing intensity daily now. Anyways ... will update again after the lowryders get above the soil.

Everything is budding up nicely already... little popcorn everywhere.
