You don't have to worry about males until they grow balls.

From my exp with the NL male after it flowers its a bitch to get it back in veg mode but that was me, i had to cut shit loads of branches off before it finaly stopped after 6 months but i do have a vile of NL pollen now in the freezer to see if its good in 6 months but i dont know if i will have a chance to try it out since im not growing.

GG i think you are straight in veg. I don't think it will release pollen until 12/12. Although i could be completely wrong :D

if it is showin signs of being a male I would get rid of it. I would not wait till I went to 12-12 to get rid of it. As long as you are sure it's male. If it has male preflowers and little balls, it is capable of releasing pollen. even if it is not in 12-12 mode. I have never had an auto flowering plant so I am just goin on grow info.

if it releases pollen whilst the others are vegging they will still be fine because pollen becomes inert after a few weeks i believe..
correct me if im wrong

GG.....as long as female flowers are NOT presesnt(including pre-flowers) no chance of pollination....HOWEVER...since early flowering males and even more so auto-flowering, aren't considered, by most to be the best option for X's, I'd 'can it.
If you're looking to make some seeds, I would choose a different male, segregate it, collect pollen and selectively "paintbrush" on a few selected buds.
