I started hundreds of Peruvian Torch and T. Bridgesii seeds, back at Xmas. All seedlings are currently slightly less than an inch tall, except for the grafts ...
First pic is a Peruvian Torch which was grafted 12/6. It was grafted to Pereskiopsis for 4 months, at which time the Pereskiopsis burnt out. The leaves started turning orange and yellow, and growth slowed way down. So I de-grafted it and set it to root. It is now fully rooted, and you can see the difference, the potted seedling in the 2" pot was the largest seedling to grow on it's own root.

Here's a triple graft, you can see that the higher up the graft is, the quicker it grows ...

These grafts are 6 to 8". I'm going to let them grow until they won't grow no more.

This last pic is a Torch graft that grew very slowly. I got tired of waiting for it, so I grafted a Bridgesii to an aureole, on the side of the graftstock. That graft was made in March ...
