This tea was great!

I saved a buncha stems ( and added 2 or 3 tiny buds ) from really good mids and boiled the crap out of it for an hour or so, addin water after a boildown.
After 2 or 3 boildowns, i topped off the pot the weed was in to about 4 cups, added bout a half cup sugar and let it steep for about another 30-45 min.
Poured over ice and loved it.
NO BITTERNESS at all.
A witness said it tasted like white tea.

The best effect was about 20 or so min after drinkin about a 12 oz. liquid and another half of that got me on a wild mind high that i was enjoyin but at the same time i had errands to run so i was quietly hopin it would top off soon.
It did plateau to a nice body high that lasted for a while- not sure how long cause i rolled a killer when i got back.

one tip- i used my coleman outdoor stove to cook this cause if you got neighbors, they will smell it.

we need to find a way to let the guvmint fund this under a recyclin bill, yeah?

interesting thread. I've made tea before, but what I do is just mega grind the buds into keef (i think its called). Then I added it in with tea and boiling water and just consumed the whole thing. I added a bit of butter to it, reading that its required to release most of the canaboids.

theres only one thing i dont get trichs dont mix with water the reason you can make water hash like oil and water does the boiling get the trichs to mix with the water ?

Hot water basically ruptures the trichome gland walls, releasing the thc into the water as oil. But the oil and water dont mix. It is better to make bhang, an indian ganja drink made from milk. Similar process, but use a very light boil, and dont use lowfat/nonfat milk. The thc binds with the fat cells in the milk. Add some sugar, maybe a little cinnamon if you are so inclinced. Hell you really can anything you want. Cocoa is a good addition.
It's like a cannabis tea latte. Pour over ice if you like it cold.
DDM is a prolific cannabis ingestor. (HAHAHA) Talk to him about different ingestion methods.
