I know most people hate miracle grow, but it is all I have access to right now. The NPK is 10-52-10. My plants are about 1 week into flowering. My question is about how much should I dilute this fert and about how often should I use. Any help is greatly appreciated :smoke2:

Herbman just follow the instructions on the package.
Watch for fert burn and use maybe twice a week.
2 weeks before harvest you should flush your plants with lots and lots of water, this way you are smoking cannabis and not fertilizer.

MG is some strong shit. Id recommend(if thats all you can use) to go 1\2 strength at first and ease into full strength. With MG it is crucial to flush. Watch for fert burn close too.
I'm not sure you should even use it at all for indoor plants. Like Tibs said I would be very judicious with it at first. Your only one week into flower anyway. Give it at least another week. For outdoor plants though that shit will kick them in the ass. I didn't use it last year. But two years ago I had some monster colas while using the Bloom booster.

Never used it inside(Closetgrowth at GK used it and had great results inside) outside it kicks ass for me. I use it at 1\2 strength 2 weeks into flowering then full strenght once a week.Never got fert burn that way,I know some guys that use it full strenght from week 2 up to 2 weeks before twice a week. They say they never have problems.
I was growing white widow at the time, and I used that shit at probably double strength, and it never fert burned. For the record though knowing what I know now I would not recommend MG for either indoor, or outdoor. Peace.

SFC,could you share why you wouldnt use it again? Is it organic over chemical?

Thanks for all the input guys. I am kind of reluctant to use it because of all of the bad shit I've read about it. Right now I am using Bills Perfect Fertilizer. It is 6-11-6. I know I could use a higher percentage of P, but this shit is organic and I've read in one of Rosenthals books that it is some good shit

Also in an ed rosenthal book (the closet cultivator) he says that there are a variety of fancy fertilizers but that he recommends peter's or miracle grow if you don't care about only organic ferts

Well which would you recommend Kind??? The MG or Bills????
Thank you
non-organic is the reason I would not recommend it. I have smoked both organic, and non organic now, and I know without a doubt that organic tastes much better, and not only that, why would you want to inhale chemicals? If you are growing outdoors, and are looking for quantity, versus quality it will kick them in the ass, but if you want the absolute finest buds you, or your homies have smoked then go organic. :smoke2:

i wish my memory worked ! i remember readding somewhere , that MJ only uses a percentage of the Nutes that we add. A product like MG with a 10/52/10 .. that 52 is overkill .

It's just not a good product for the indoor cultivator, but I think it may be determined by how much light they get, and how fast they can metabolize those nutes...If you got some good lighting say 600-1000+ watts, then you may be able to use it..b/c the plants could probably metabloize that much phosphorous...but even then it's strong. IF the light setup is sub par, and you are only pushing 200 watts or so, i don't think any plant would be able to metabloze nutrients fast enough in that situation.
This is one reason it seems that indoors fert just don't work as well as they should, b/c i'm sure MIracle Grow probabaly uses the sun as a basis for sugar metabolization, which is measureable to about 155000 lumens...per square foot,@ high noon. See what's wrong???
I will probably only use a 8-14-9 for flower, because my plants won't be able to metabolize large amounts P and K quickly with my sub-par setup. even with 30,000 lumens in 6 square feet...nothing compares to the sun...
Also another thing, as others have said before me, why smoke chemicals???
My next grow is going fully organic...
just some food for thought...the plants can only work with what they are given, and if that's poor light, then you get poor metabolization of the macronutes....although this is often overlooked, and forgotten.

I have used it outside in the greenhouse and have had no probs with fert burn, I just flush em really well at the end. As for CG, well, I believed maybe half of what he claimed. To listen to him brag, he had 6 Ferraris, 7 girlfriends, and a 16 inch dick.

Indeed LL.
I only ask because very few of the original members that knew CG are still around. I am sure I would know you, so your post perks the curiosity, as it were.
You can PM me if you want. If you know CG, you are bound to know of me as well.
Mikey, check out Bushmaster, M.O.A.B. (rarely available outside so.cal though) Phosphoload, or Koolbloom or PK13/14.
The BM and P-load are not to be used like the MOAB or KBPK 13/14.

Fuck it im going with MG now man..:lmao:
Ok is the Bushmaster just stop my vertical growth? Because I thought MOAB and them are 2 different things.. I was explained Bushmaster stops verticle growth for when ya flip to 12/12?
The gimmick does have a supplement sea kelp in it and will stop vertical growth and send energy to the bud sites to start flowering. This fella told me to use it twice with your waterings in the first two weeks of flowering, and you will show flowers sooner, and stop vertical growth in it's tracks. He use the bare minimum it calls for, and reduce nutrients to 1/2 strength while treating. You will notice that budsites start exploding with growth, and that your plants will finish up to a week sooner.
He said he started using this because his plants were stretching to the point of being top heavy. It is another option without having to LST.
I figured I would check with you on the deal first before I buy.. I am flipping my light to 12/12 today..
thanks in advance GTD
