"REQUA & FICARRA ANSWER THE "EL GRAPADURA" QUESTION

Remember when I said, "Every dictionary I've seen has "grapadora" as the word for stapler, and no entry for "grapadura", yet in "Norberto y Daggetto en El Grapadura Y El Castor Malo" and "Kreature Komforts" (notice the stapler in the game), "grapadura" becomes "stapler". Am I missing something?"? Well, I got an E-mail from writers John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (who wrote "Kandid Kreatures", the first El Grapadura episode) explaining that they had asked one of the staffers who spoke Spanish what the Spanish word for "stapler" was, and said staffer spelled it "grapadura" (which, if you ask me, is a better-sounding name for a wrestler anyway). (P.S. from John and Glenn: say no to drugs.)
However, I have been informed from Eduardo Ascarrunz of Chile that "grapadura" may actually be "grapa dura", which means "hard staple". He also says that some other names change in the Spanish-dubbed versions: Treeflower ("Flordelbosque" - I think that translates closer to "forest flower"), Stump ("Muñón" - yes, it means "stump"), and Oxnard Montalvo (changed to Onardo Montalvo)."

...now I'm even more curios..LOL

Never seen an episode of "Angry Beavers" or "Kandid Kreatures"
