Anybody ever catch this show? Its an HBO series that is on its second season.
This is an excellent show for anyone who is intrested in how this country was formed. It takes place in a mining town in the black hills....and is a exact account for how it really was to live back in the outlaw days.
Personally, id much rather live back then. I wish I was born 150 yrs ago after watchin that show.

Love it! This is one of my favorite shows. The writing is outstanding. The language is true to the time period....which is something you almost never see. It has to make the writing twice as tough.

Nice....im glad to see someone who else enjoys it. And you are correct....the language is to period. I suggest pickin up the first season if ya can, there is a "how they did it" disc in the set and it explains how far indepth they went to get everything correct. And the language was one of most interesting.
I hope this is something HBO continues...they make excellent series.
My favorite character is E.A. Swearengen....hence my avatar. Hes an evil son of a bitch....and he plays it well.

I admit I was a little taken aback by the language when I first started watching it. A buddy of mine had been watching since it started ,and kept harrassing me to watch it. So now I'm hooked. When you switched to that Avatar I was going to get the other dude. You know the one from tombstone. Curly bill.

Been watchin it since the show begun...love it! :D

.....also love the Sopranos! HBO has soem good series IMO!
