im currently reveging one of my BB/WW plants it was a killer pheno all around taste, smell, look, high it was awsome:icon_smil  i was just wondering what you guys think of reveging is it worth it i have alot more seeds of that strain but i just thought it would be easier than to grow out another lot of em to find another pheno i like. will it put to much stress on the plant will it produce the same quality buds i never reveged so if anyone here has any info would be cool: pipe: i tried to reveg before with no results but this plant within a week there was new growth now 3 weeks later it got tons of new growth im gonna have to get in there and trim a little

IN no way shape or form do you ever just throw away bomb genetics due to the fact that you may never find that phenotype again even from the same batch of seeds. Each plant is unique and different and that is where all clone only strains started. If someone had just thrown away the OG kush and not revegged or took a cutting or maybe Dumpster, F13 or any other elite clone. Unless it's an emergency like the cops coming a knocking i wouldn't ever ditch a true quality strain due to just because i have more seeds which may or may not ever yeild anything close to the golden nugget that you have found. Even if you find a better pheno keep this one and breed the two.
Save your genetics.

I keep a clone of everything I flip. : pipe:
Pretty easy to toss it if its no good.LOL
Revegging probably isn't the best for a Plant but what can you do now.
Keeping clones is #1 in my book. Tap

yup i finaly reveg a plant and i get hit with spider mites they went straight for the sweet tooth they loved those for some reason but i hacked everything im not dealing with those bastards:clubed: :clubed: :clubed: :clubed: i moved my setup from my house to a buddys and they had outdoor pets i think thats were they came from because ive been growing 8-9 years and never had a prob so i cut and bombed everything in the room like 4 times more than needed and im still scared to bring my equipment home im gonna wash everything in a strong bleach solution as i take it home i dont need to deal with those horrors

I have re vegged a few times. Sometimes when you loose a batch of clones or something goes wrong in your grow, thats all you have left to work with at the end of the day. The plant looks a lil retarded at first when it transitions from flowering back to vegging but after a few months you will be taking clones from her. I have not noticed any decrease in taste, potency and bud set.
If ya found a keeper keep it Delta:thumbsup: :animbong:

I'm all for it if thats the only choice. I had a re-veg mom from a single bean out of 80's dead show bud that provided clones for years, like GTD said no loss in potency, blooms, etc that I could detect. Maybe in lab tests there is a difference lol, but it still got me bombed and tasted great:bongdude:

when i re-veg the only difference i see is that the plant likes to bush out. all the side growth seems to grow alot faster but the potency was always good
