My bagseed grow has started to frost the leaves with THC and now the pistils are changing color from white to light brown. Do you think its time to harvest?

What color are the trichomes? That's how you tell when they're ready. Are they clear, cloudy, amber?

hey Max...Steve's right, magnification and trichome color are the best way to tell, but in my experience, with most strains and in most cases, at least 50-80% red/brown pistils before they are getting close.

Thanks guys. I do have a 60 to 100 radio shack loupe, but my eye are pretty bad. I just dont trust what I see with the loupe. I'll be watching for about 30% red brown pistils.
again thanks man

Also Max try ,and hold on till at least 60 days. It will be worth it. If your bagseed looks more sativa hold on maybe even 80 days. But trich's will tell fail safe. :smoke2:

I think that i have read somewhere that Red Devil is a 70 day strain.
My bad just went back and saw that you were talking about your bagseed grow. Too much hash on the brain :bongdude:

I can post some pics later that give a pretty good visual at the difference between clear, cloudy and amber.

Since early clear trichs are somewhat easier to spot heres a pic that shows a nice contrast to the amber and cloudy side of it.
