A full house indeed, uh, well I mean closet. However, not yer' ordinary closet at the moment. 15 days into bloom. 12/1 tentative pull date for most...in exception to the Thai Haze X Skunk #1.
I planted these beans (all 79) on the first day of school...August 18th...and ran the veg cycle 16/8 for 17 days, once they started germin' on the 22nd, 23rd, 24th.
I began 12/12 bloom cycle on the 9th of September. A rather special day in my world. First of all, it marks the anniversary of the day I got my dog, DazeJane 7 years ago. It was Sept. 9th, 2001...two days later, well, we all know the rest of that story... This Sept. 9th, 2008 I took my neice and nephew to their first "major venue" rock concert...The Foo Fighters @ Red Rocks...we had general admission tixs...and we landed 5th row and center seats...ultra-special night, and Dave Grohl and Co. tore it up at Red Rocks. So you can see a trend...he likes the 9th of September...ok, you caught me.
So I am at week 2 bloom...perhaps pixs? We will see...

THINK GREEN PROJEKT 2008
Basic op to this point consists of these necessary steps.
Step 1 : Purchase the finest germination mix in the land, Johnny's 512 Mix from
Johnny's Selected Seeds. A shameless plug, no doubt.
Step 2 : Decide on necessary bean counts for bean drop time. On this
particular outing I realized that I was starting beans not only for
myself but two other responsible growers. One a newbie, MNG,
you all know and love him, and a gro bro that will remain unnamed
cuz' he/she prefers it that way.
Step 3 : Once determined amount of beans were decided upon, I plant'd 'em.
79 to be exact. Don't look back. The stuff motto's are made of.
Step 4 : Germination proceeded in the the 4th, 5th, and 6th day. 67/79.
Step 5 : Purchase FoxFarm nutes Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and of course,
Ocean Forest Potting soil. This stuff is incredible for us soil-lovers.
Step 6 : Upon the end of the first week of veg or so, it may have been like
day 8, 9, or 10 I transplant up to a bigger container. Mind you, not
the last container they will see along the way. And I will note
here, a person could manage to sex them in the original germ
container, which are in my case, small 3.5 inch tall 2.5 inch wide
containers for starting peppers and tomatoes in. The dual use
pattern here is self-evident. ;)
Step 7 : Out of the 67 seedlings, 4 died a rather miserable runtish death.
Leaving las vegas, I mean 63.
****Will have to break here, my gro bro unnamed just call'd me, it's bowl30
I'll be back, trust me...and thanks webby for the fine site. Cheers!

I will get back to the steps momentarily, but first these messages:
MNG, patience dude...I was going to get to that step. Please allow me the space to
chroniclogically get there. Thank you.
SFC, I am pleased that you see it that way. I'm bringing my A-game. Gunna be
noteworthy. I won't let ya' down. Promise.
Web420, Truth be told yer' right, however, I must inject here the facts. Your original
MBThai beans were used up several grows ago. I am currently utilizing
MBThai beans that I most definitely brought to the table myself, I'll explain
how this occurred. I had a MBThai plant this last spring that was from one
of my last MBThai beans that I had found on a MBThai plant that was from
one of yer' orig. bean plants. This plant sprouted a few bananas. This
tended to be the case with this strain. I don't know if that's because it is a
bit unstable or if it is just the plant's auto-survival mode kickin' in, hermy
or not, or even if it was a self-pollinator, the first time it happened by
chance, this last time(this spring '08) I purposely exploited a banana and
pollinated a bud on the lower part of the plant. As I was drying down that
plant, I kept the pollinated bud separate. And it produced 3 bitchin' beans.
Here's the kicker, I was jarring up the rest of that MBThai buddage and
found yet another bud that was chock full of beans. 5-6 as I remember,
and they were beauties, I have witnesses. Both my unnamed gro bro and
MNG were witness to this awesome find. So in the splitting hairs department
perhaps you originally set me up, however, this current model is my own.
To be fair I'll give credit where credit is due. Thanks again for the orig.
MBThai beans, you the man. As for the Mindhog, how was I to know??
Midnitefarmer, I opened up this thread in the indoor cultivation thread cuz' I was
not certain, and to be honest, am still not certain whether I will post
pics or not. For me that always becomes a rather costly endeavor.
You ever hire a photographer? For the record, they don't come cheap.
If I would have opened this thread in the pot shots and gardens
forum then I could understand your plea, but I didn't, so please
simmah down. Thank you!:icon_smil :pics:
:bongdude:
***For the record, I disagree with this thread being useless without pics, cuz' I plan
on trying to enlighten newbies to how easy it is to do this thing we do. Fair nuf'...
DC I edited your post because of the rules. Sorry bro. You can always discuss it in PM or even shout (not really advisable though unless you know who is reading shout) where there is no permanent log of it. For your own security my friend.
Ok, enough of this crap...time to get back to the steps.
Step 8 : So then there were 63. After discussing possible male/female ratios with my
coop-ee's...mutual decisions were made. MNG received 20 unsexed from the
63 count. 63-20= 43.
Step 9 : I decided at day 17 to go bloom. So within 10 days my sexing was complete.
Now I should insert here the fact that right before all had shown sex, I gift'd
5 that had not shown to the unnamed coop-ee. 43 - 5 = 38. Before I gift'd
4 more a week later, mine had sexed. 13 were males. 38 - 13 = 25. Then the
4 more a week later and the new maintainable # is 21. (25 - 4 = 21)
So then there were 21. Lucky 21.
Step 10 : Next I transplant'd 12 of the 21 up to 3 gallon cont.'s with FF OF Pottin' Soil
The rest were upgraded to 1.5 to 2 gallon pots. Saul Goode.
Step 11 : Here is a step that is a shameless plug for a gro bro who brings zest to the
table. MNG who has decided to jump in head first purchased the fine ex-
tend'd line of FoxFarm nutes. This includes Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz,
and Cha-Ching. He part'd with an ample amount of each to help me blow
it up. Chances are it will work, ya' think? Thanks be to the nice guy.
Step 12 : I have been using a less than called for amount of these nutes with every
watering. I tend to water once every 3 days. Water'd Wed.(check)
Step 13 : I am runnin' a 400 watt Eye Hortilux HPS Hydrofarm Super Grow Wing
reflector set-up with a ballast which is not digital. I will grab brand name
later. For now undestand that in a gro space (closet) of my size it is ideal.
However, I should qualify that statement by adding that I could add
another light just like it in the same room, cuz' it's feasible. Believe you,
me, that is definitely in the work-up mode. Hope to upgrade lumens before
this session is done.
Step 14 : This step pretty much catches us up to speed. Yesterday, I rearranged the
plant's positions in the space for optimum spacing and height issues.
Speaking of height, I have a strain from Tap that is exceptionally tall at 26-
30 inches tall. I have two of these plants. They are the SSH X SD X
DireWulfe. Both are pertnear the same height. The shortest plant I have is
the BluBerry by Tap, it clocks in at 12 inches. They all are in-between
12-30 inches tall. Very manageable, indeed.
Step 15 : To be continued.

I will read the OG faq.
Mine intention was to try and be generous back to the site that houses those that have been so kind to me. I will make sure and find out first in the future if what I am about to offer is kosher to be offered before I go offering. And to make sure also that what I offer I can follow up on. In other words, I am apparently behind on my research.
I will be back Monday with a few more steps. I would have been able to add a few more steps today, however, I left my cheat sheet at home.
Suffice to say, the kids are alright.

Hey, thanks for letting me off the hook. I was about to jump...lol.
I had aspirations of bringing the measurements in height of each participant in
my op "THINK GREEN PROJEKT 2008" today...however, thanks be to the fellow at
the garden party I attended yesterday afternoon at a picnic table in this dude's
backyard. His friend busted out what he claimed to be some "Orange Kush" X
"Sumpthin' else"...he wasn't sure what they said the cross was. Suffice to say
after 3 small ass bowls between 4 of us...we were severely enlightened.
I went home following this garden party, and decided it was time to eat. After
that I had decided to post my height schedule to my journal and then I thought
perhaps I should smoke that nug that was bestowed upon me for a quart of
my famous homemade "bread n' butter" pickles. And someone said..."It was
good...really good." Then I sliced up more cukes to soak overnite in alum
water, for today's instructional video I am shooting for the Food Network!
In that vid shoot I will be making the ever-popular "Refrigerator Bread n'
Butter Pickles"...It will air in my dreams...on the Food Network. lol,...
I guess what I am tryin to say is that...I forgot my list again.
Stoner is what stoner does...and my life is fulfilled...complete is an
understatement.
Steps will continue this week...possibly tommorrow...Tuesday.
Wake me up when September ends...:pics:

up to the one before I haven't cut/pruned main H20 leaves. So in simpler
form I'll say that I have pruned main H20 leaves up to the NC-# I have

Steps 16-??? will incorporate training and pruning issues as these wonderful kids
mature.
Also I have decided to contact my photographer and hash out some fine deets on pics. I was thinkin' I would give you all a peek on Halloween. Don't freak y'all...even though the timing could support it. :bongdude:
I now have a step to add that does not amuse me...but as they say...shit happens.
Step 16: Due to a rather runtish approach at the runway, I pulled the Dutch Passion BlueBerry from (Wa/SFC) out of the mix. This plant was exhibiting rather poor, in fact extremely poor growth traits. I have only seen this type of growth on one other plant sometime ago. It was like it was trying to set buds, but it just kept getting stringier and stringier. So last Friday...I pulled it and stuck the Sour Diesel X Purple Urkel from (Tap) into it's now unoccupied container, seeings how it was a 3 gallon container, and up 'til that point the SDxPU was in a 2 gallon cont. Saul Goode. Really. And then there was 20.
Step 17: Oh lucky 17...seeings how 21 ain't so lucky anymore(refer to above step to gleen watt I mean.) LOL. Anyways, lucky step 17 includes the photo shoot arrangements. They have been made, and will occur before Halloween. My arrangement will allow for the pixs to be posted on Halloween. They will be in their 7th week of bloom then...and should allow for some purty pixs. Indeed, the weed will be showcased. So with your photo whores permission...:pics: snap will be the order of the day. Btw, look for them to be posted in PotShots as a "trick or treat". You all can be the judge.
Step 18: Coming soon.

Some times the Best plant you will ever have started out slow and fucked up.
I've grown plants to a wopping 6 inches that was close to 2 month old. Set in a seed cut for 5 weeks and looked so yellow with red stems it was not even funny. But then one day she decided to take off and then rocked the house.

I'm tired and having a hard time following you but the Q? I have is your getting 2ft plants with 8 nodes or so???
Most my plants get a node per inch aka the strains as well. Or damb close to it.
I might need pics here to grasp what your saying.HAHAH Tap
Yep. I told him before about the freakish blueberries Tap. He don't listen, and he ain't cloning nothing. Ignorance is bliss. Carry on.

Tap...
Node count is how many sets of main stem H20 leafs I have pruned up from the very bottom of the plants, starting actually at the two first true leaves that come from within the bean.
There is not a plant under two foot at this point...5 weeks 3 days bloom.
In fact, the plant heights range between 2.25 - 6.0 feet tall. My Thai Haze X Skunk #1 is the tallest in the bunch.
The high down will be produced in time through the aid of photography...if I can ever get my photographer to set the beer down long enough. Ha!
SFC...This plant that we are discussing, the DP BlueBerry was a menace to itself. I shoulda taken pixs of it to prove to ya' beyond a shadow of doubt that it was going into heavy digression. This plant gave new meaning to runtishness and instability of phenotype. I have only had one other plant in all my years of growing look like this at that stage which was roughly 3.5 weeks into bloom. While all the other plants were looking like they were on to something...it looked like it was lost and forlorn, like a dog without a home. It had not even set one bud...not one. The main cola formation looked like a bad haircut. I kiddeth you knot. I would not dispose of a plant if it even looked remotely on track...this wasn't about health issues, but rather a phenotype that was seriously fucked. I will again repeat for the skeptical among us...it was a misfit, unworthy of my time or space.
I wish you wouldn't make it sound like I ignore you folks, cuz that could not be further from the truth. I am 46 years old, and have been growing for well over a decade now. I am set in my ways. The only possible change I can see possibly coming with the way I operate is if I move into a space where I have more room for perpetual grows or if someone clones with success right in my presence. I am a simpleton, I've qualified that status before, and perhaps I don't exploit the plant as well as others do...but to me that is just overkill and lots of time and space that I simply don't have.
Maybe if the American dream ever appears in my horizon that will change. Until then...bidness as usual, which I might add has served me quite well.

Well , like I said. If you would recall my very best blueberry on its first run was exactly as you described. After cloning it became one of the best plants I have ever had. That is exactly what Tap was trying to tell you as well. You, as usual, are not very patient butterfly. Learn to clone. Either way, its your loss man. Good luck with the rest of them.

Well, today marks 5 weeks 5 days into bloom. Nudging 6 weeks.
I am going to start flushing some of the kids that will early out.
This will include the Grapefruits, AK47's, Sour Diesel X Purple Urkels,
and a few others possibly including the Mindhog and WWxBB.
Have a few that will require more weekage in the bloom department.
This has been quite the learning experience once again. I definitely learned that
my space has limitations. Also that if I tweak said environment I could up the
ante easily. So with that being said, I have decided to graduate to a minimum
of a 600 watt for my grow space next time around. Until that point, a much
deserved break. I figure mid-winter I will have legs again.
Have some heartbreaking news.
A couple of plants went hermy, bad. One was the Northern Lights X G13
Hashplant, and the other a MB Thai.
To make a long story short...chop chop...and then there were 18.
Spooky some times...just how it all works itself out...in the end.

The MB Thai strain has always been a bit unstable.
This is not the first time with this strain for me. Sometimes it is only a few bananas...other times like this one...breakout, big time...
You could be right about the other plant though...it was a Northern Lights X G13HashPlant. It was one of a few that did not get transplanted up to 3 gal containers...I think it was a wee bit root bound or simply tired of getting the weaker dose of lumens at the perimeter of my grow space.
One thing is for certain...no light leaks. The other 18 plants are living proof of that. Proof is on it's way...eta : Halloween. Look for it at a PotShots near you...:icon_smil

Uh, your right. I forget from twelve pack to twelve pack. Please allow some of that slack.
Step 19: 6 weeks 2 days bloom...today, and all is really quite well.
I reshuffled the order in my grow space yesterday for success. All 18 are basking in the hid glow in the best possible position available to them in my grow space. My reward should be maximum yields. I will go as far as to post dry bud weight in grams/ounces for each plant once the harvest is complete in 2-5 weeks. That is my way of saying thank you all for the beans once again. It will serve as proof that winning BOTM, even with a drunk photographer, has its merits. Specifically a satchel/jar of nugs...and a perma-grin.
Speaking of grinning...I hope to bring a collective smile to 420G's face on Halloween. Trick or treat...otherwise known as trichs on parade. It will be swell.
'Til then...be well.
