Hey krew whats going on? I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and are looking forward to a great NewYears. Anyways, I am in the middle of building a setup. It consists of two rooms that are side by side. The veg area is 30 inches wide, and 6 feet long, with a 6 foot ceiling. The flower area is 4.5 feet wide, and 6 feet long with 6 foot ceilings. My problem is cooling the area. I want to run Co2, and was thinking of using a AC unit and running the flower area sealed. But you have to vent the AC unit. So this is what I was thinking,,,,I installed the AC unit in the wall, and have it vent to the veg side, and use intake and outtake vents with carbon scrubbers to clean the air. Would this work? Or should I just go with intake and out vents??

first off Co2 is pointless if you using any type of air exchange. if you have enough fresh air coming in then you dont need Co2.
Some AC units have the ability to switch between recycle and fresh air modes. this means it will exhaust and intake. This information should be in the owner's manual or spec sheet that comes with the unit.
if you want to use Co2 i think your best bet is to use cool tubes or sealed vented hoods and daisy chain them threw both rooms/lights to pull out the heat. plus Co2 works better at around 85-90 degrees. also if you have a carbon filter going it will have to be on a timer to shut off for about an hour while the Co2 does its work and if your using a tank and injector its multiple times a day on/off

The only reason I am using Co2 is because I can get it for free. Might as well use it no? I have decided to go with a passive intake with my blower exhausting hat air. I plan on using a vented shade to help with temps. The way I have things setup right now is as follows. I have a heater that runs when temps get cold, and a exhaust fan that turns on when the temps get over 85 degrees. I could go hotter but I can change it later. The co2 is running for 15 mins every hour, for a total of a hour and a half of total run time. The amount of Co2 I inject still has to be determined. I get the shit for free so why not use it. I ran the room last night for two hours, and the exhaust fan didn't come on ounce, so I think I am okay for now. Thanks for the help guys. I will show some updated pics later tonight.

if its free then fill that room up i thought you would be paying to fill tanks or to buy a Co2 generator.
other than that things sound good  also when your using Co2
the plants take it up faster when the temps are around 85-90 degrees.
when you run Co2 you can have higher room temps if its a sealed room just make sure the exhaust goes off for a bit so the Co2 has time to be taken up by the plants. i only leave a circulating fan going in the room to keep the Co2 moving because it will settle on the floor because its heavier than air.
it will help alot if its in a sealed room worked wonders for me but i find if i have enough fresh air coming in its not needed
cant wait to see some pics :D
