Yeah sam. Basically what you put in is what you get out. Meaning if you use a bunch of shit leaf you'll have a shit run lol, compared to crystally leaf, kibble buds where ya end up with a nice quality run.. :animbong: :animbong: :thumbsup:

Hey there Samino... I'm looking at these:
http://420genetics.com/gallery/files/1/9/4/2/XtractorBags.jpg (http://420genetics.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=8655)

and here's the spec's:

These bags also known as "bubble bags",filter bags or xtractor bags"
These are the original filter bags made in NZ since 2001, comprising 3 easy to use graduated screen mesh filter bags.
A 4th bag serves as both a wash bag and a pouch for holding the bags when not in use
A simple cold water filtration method, using a 20 litre bucket,water,ice and herb of choice is all that is needed to produce a resin or herbal concrete.
The Bags are made using a strong waterproof ripstop fabric and sefar mesh all seams are triple stitched with waterproof thread and come with basic instructions for making a herbal concrete.
the screens I use are measured by threads per inch been
black=40
green=90
blue=150
blue screen is the finest mesh available

RRP NZ$200.00 ... (about US$120?)

I need to do better at growing probably, lol... :D

Tap, the bubble bags are the name brand 'bomb diggity' bags for sure.

Tough I believe the NZ made and the bubble bags use diff screen size identification.

The NZ bags use the standard print screen/mesh size ref, with so many threads per inch, ie, 40 being coarse , 150 being fine.

The bubble bags use a grading system depending on the size of the material let through, or the actuall size of the holes in the mesh, ie 77mics, 25 mics etc.

Meaning the 150threads pre inch, may be similar as your 25mic bag.

I been studying a hell of a lot on the extraction lately, have got a good old shaker kiff screen already, will be bighting the bullet & spending the extra coin on the 7 bag, 5gal 'bubble bag' brand set. One day, maybe, the okeiff BHO tube.

id stick with the real deal Bubblebags as well. ive used others and id spend the few extra $s on the real thing. and ive done plenty of runs with not so great trim and still gotten a reeeally nice quality product out. it may not be as much as leaf with more trichs, but good trichs are good trichs. and the 5 gallon 4 bag set from bubblebag will still nearly pay for itself if not more on the first run. and also for the micro to screen mesh conversion, not exact, but the 25mic mesh is about equal to a 355 thread per inch screen printing mesh. id certainly not wanna go without the 25 mic bag. just my opinion though.

Im thinking about buying a set of bubble bags. I dont' own a set. Is this the best quality that money can buy. http://www.bubblebag.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=32.

Whats the difference in the 1gallon 4 bagger and the 1 gallon 8 bagger. Is the 8 bag gimmick the best? 1 gallon or 5 gallon bags? Im figuring the more bags the finer better quality hash ya get no?

Thanks for the replys fellas. That eight piece 1 gallon looks to be a pretty nice setup, as well as the price.
But I think that 4 bag setup may give a little more product. It may reduce the chance of wanted material getting left behind.
I dont know but just a thought.

Ive got the 1 gallon 8 bag set. it was a gift from a good friend. if i were to buy, id get the 5 gallon set, 4 bags. 1 gallon isnt big enough to run much trim at all in. much more than 2 beer cups full of trim in a 1 gallon set will start making a mess. not enough room for trim, ice an water. definately look at the 5 gallon set. and i have 8 bags, but rarely run more than 4 bags. usually i just use the work bag, and the 190 and 160 just to filter out trash and keep all the good stuff in the 25. using the other bags will not really yield any more, just seperates the grades, but to me its not really worth the extra hassle most of the time so i rarely do it. that said, yeah GTD id spend the few extra $s and get the real Bubblebags. and even with scrappy not so great trim and collecting all in one bag, i still get a pretty nice quality product. niiice dark chocolate color, soft pliable chunks, even nice enough to roll out into a joint paper to make those "mendo cigar" things look second rate hahahhaa. thats just my opinion on the subject. ive prob done 25 or so runs thru my bags as well, so i know they last too.

Thanks for the heads up on the conversion nwf... :thumbsup:

Their finest bag (150) would be about 60 mic and probably a bit gritty eh? :D

yeah DC, a 150 mesh screen would be even coarser than a 60 micron i think, not sure though. now the set you posted, with a 220, 75, and 25, i think youll not be as happy with that. the 220 will let a lot of trash though, and the 75, while itll take it out, itll take a lot of good stuff with it. so your 75 bag will have a mix of good stuff but quite a bit of trash in it too. me personally, i pull the 225, the 190 and the 160, and i throw em all out as trash. once in a while the 160 will have somethin sorta decent, but even then its not that great. so thats my take on em. this is one case where the few extra dollars for the real thing is worth it for sure.
