lookin mighty green 2 me :ebert:

Happy growin' :pimp:

don't think ya need me tellin ya this but just in case...that big one needs water more often...try not to let them get to that dried out point. also ya might wanna try transplanting into larger conatiners now...just an opinion...other grower who has done this is kiwi...my plant showed no stress at all, and i did it about the same time ur at...ne ways i know some peeps will disagree...so be it...take it as you will...buud size (in my experience) is based on not only the volume of the pot but the depth of the pot as well...eg. as deeper root mass can support more weight up top. further experimentation is in the werx watch my thread...but ne ways thought id share some of my thoughts...

Happy Growin' :pimp:

I thought I remember reading somewhere that you should let your soil completely dry each time before watering, during flowering. Does that sound like bullshit??

nice work there Herbman..

not that dry...if they get like that water 2 days sooner...if 2 days sooner puts u watering more than everyother day then they are root bound and need 2 be transplanted.

in my op newayz

I think you need bigger pots. :D Sorry...I had to say it....hehehe.

Things are lookin good there Herbman...notice the tips of the leaves and how they look like claws? This means the plant is good on nutes for now. Looking at the leaves tells me that they could use a round of plain water next time. And bigger pots will help more than you can ever know. The girls are telling you what they need....don't deprive them now.

Do you really want to transplant this late in flowering?

Herbman
05-24-2005, 08:09 PM
Everybody has told me to transplant them into bigger pots and I'm pretty damn stubborn. Since this is my first grow I think I'm just gonna let them go this time and next time I'll use bigger pots. You see the reason I didn't this time is because I had height restrictions. I no longer have that because I built another box and fastened that son of a bitch to my other one. I would repot them now but I don't wanna cause stress and mess it all up. I can guarantee I will be using bigger planters next time though. Again ty everybody for your comments and suggestions!! :beerchug:

Herbman

Thanks for the comments guys. And Green Goblin, I'm definately gonna use bigger pots next time. I'm just hoping that this weed gets me high like I used to get when I first started smoking. If it does than I win big time!!! :pimp: You know what's funny though GG, my plants that are in the smaller containers have more and bigger buds, wrap your mind around that one ;)

Interesting comment Herbman.
I use 12" pot's to grow in and still have prob's with them getting root-bound. :o
Had a look at a 16" pot today, but am un-sure whether to use it or not,as it is going to take up a fair chunk of my grow space.
Other than the size of the pot's your grow is looking quite good!

Herbman
06-03-2005, 06:10 AM

Here they are at day 52...Only have 3 plants left cause I chopped down 3 of them last night cause they were growing nanas..
http://www.growkind.com/gardens/herbman/1640/cola52days.jpg
http://www.growkind.com/gardens/herbman/1640/redhairs.jpg
http://www.growkind.com/gardens/herbman/1640/3topsday52.jpg

Out of the 2 plants I chopped last night I got 2 oz wet, so I figure I'll have 1 oz dried to smoke on. Lot better yield than I thought since I used those small ass containers...That top picture of that cola, that plant is in a 3 gallon container and now I know why everybody was busting my balls about the bigger containers. Thanks everybody!!
