Fresh, Cold Bong Water

Lately I've been fighting off my laziness one bad habit at a time. Every night after I take my last hit I'll empty my bong and rinse it out a little, leaving it empty to dry overnight. Then just before my wake-n-bake session I fill the bong with Brita filtered water. Using filtered water isn't really the idea so much as cold water from the refrigerator. It's much easier on the throat, especially for those morning hits. Getting rid of yesterday's water before I go to bed seems to prevent the stale water from stinking up the bong, too. All in all, bong rips now feel and taste much better. :thumbsup:


So does anyone else perform a similar daily ritual or is OCD intruding on my smoking habits? LOL

I'm with you dood. I always use my brita to fill the bong. A nice cold bong rip just feels good. I really like brita water along with ice. very smooth. I have always emptied and cleaned my bong water after every use. Not a big fan of bong water, or the smell. Plus its much easier to keep em clean.

Usually every session,i change my water and put a bottle brush through it,don't use fridge or filtered water tho,straight out of the back yard tap ! :thumbsup:

There is absolutely nothing nastier than old bongwater spilled on the carpet or upholstery. I quit using water in my bong, just because I am _so_ not graceful. I would love to find a cleaner way to get what I need from MJ. If I could guage the dose and schedual, I'd probably eat it exclusively. I tried out a vaporizer, and gagged on the aftertaste. Maybe it would grow on me, but it reminded me of syphoning gas. Nightly ritual cleaning of paraphenalia is a good insentive to put it away. I'm bad about 'just one more'. Going to bed, trying to sleep in my condition can seem like a form of self abuse(I mean masochisim, not masterbatory. I have to steel myself against the frustration and futility.

I found out the "hard" way if I look at enough porn I forget how bad the bong water is. :eek:

It could be time to put the porn down since my bongwater is the consistancy of molasses.

No Brita water filter for me; I use cold water from a local mountain spring.

I remember back in the 70's...a friend of mine used to drink used bong water. He was convinced he would get high off of it.
He asked me to save it for him if I changed the water and he wasn't there.
So I did, put it in a container the next time I changed it.
He didn't stop by for about a week. When he did I handed him the container.
It looked like piss. Smelled a bit like it too.
He downed it. He swayed for a few moments, then raced outside and threw up his guts on the front lawn.
He never asked after that.

P.S. that urband legend--drinking used bong water gets you high--persists to-day.
Some people believe that it you use it to water your plants it will grow super-potent weed too.
