Waterfall Bongs: A Great Way to Smoke Hash

Lately I've been trying a lot of different ways to smoke hash. Everything from thumbtacks under jars to so-called meth pipes, and IMO waterfall bongs are the best way to smoke hash. I know a lot of you have probably tried this, but I thought I'd post this for the ones who hadn't.

The reason I like them so well for hash, is that unlike some methods of smoking hash, no smoke gets wasted. I try to size the hash so that I can get the largest piece possible that will burn out right before the water drains completely. To help this, I also try to maximize the surface area of the hash, keeping in mind how it will reshape as it bubbles up. The best shape I've been able to come up with is a donut shape that's 1/2 - 2/3's the diameter of the bowl.

Fill the bong up with water, screw on the top loaded with hash, light, let the water drain.........

I guarantee you it will be one of the smoothest and most powerfull smoking experiences you've had, and the taste is awesome too. After 3 of these, my body is almost completely numb.. It's fun with friends too, I love watching their faces melt while they're still holding in the hit. It's also a lot less smelly than most ways of smoking hash.

We have always called them gravity bongs.

It works a bit better if you cut the bottom off the 2 liter coke bottle. Then, using a coffee can or other container filled with water, submerge the coke bottle up to the neck. Fill with weed, add a flame and pick the 2 liter bottle up so the cut off bottom is just below the surface of the water. This causes the same vacuum effect as taking out the drain plug in TC's tutorial. Then, remove the bowl/stem, and inhale as you force the coke bottle back down into the water. That pushed the smoke into your lungs giving massive hits. Works great, and can be made with items you have lying around the house already.

Word thats what i was thinking. But bong is kind of a misnomer because the water isn't actually filtering the smoke its just causing the vacuum to draw smoke. Shouldn't it be a gravity pipe lol??
But yeah we just always used to cut the bottom off a bottle and used the sink hehe. Do they still make 3-liter bottles?? :bonghits:

I remember the olden days when I used to live in dorms, waterfall was definetely the preferred method!! :)

when i was younger me and my buddy's made a monster gravity bong we used a 55gal. garbage barrel full of water. and we used 2- 5 gallon poland springs bottles we cut the bottom off 1 and cut the top and bottom off the other taped them together so it was 2 times longer than just one bottle almost a
10 gal. bottle lots of suction. we left a open bottom and the top was left alone so we could cork the top and set it up to hold the slide. we had a monster bowl. filling the bong with smoke burnt up the whole bowl about 1-2g of bud hurt your lungs but it got you pretty ripped :bongdude:

There fun but never smoked hash out of one just nuggs....
