proxies... whos using em?

I have always used a proxy server while browsing my grow friendly sites. It just gave me piece of mind. I recently bought a new mac and am having trouble loading up my proxy. Will prolly do without for a while. Just curious, how many of you are using a proxy?

I have used them, I don't see the need unless your selling products.
They SLOW you down - IMO
But that the price you pay when you grow.

Like this free one, it does do the job of masking your IP.

yeah secure tunnel was what i was using with my PC. It didn't seem to slow it down much at all. I still have my account, just cant get it loaded on the mac.
