Dead Harvest !

Ok,went to check some plant's that we had sorta forgotten about,trimmed all the main bud's off and left the plant's to fend for them selve's.
All the bud's that were left on the plant's were dead !
The smoke that we eventually were brave enough to try was KNOCK-OUT material !
Any other grower's done this type of thing or not ?

yes , its called drying on the stalk, my buddy tried it a couple of years back on 1 plant. & i read about it somewhere on GK. supposed to make the buds more potant.. but the lack of space usually keeps people from trying it... :thumbsup:

I have done that as well.
Something about leaving the plant to fend for itself makes the plant bring out the best buds.

i find this way of drying tends to leave a bit more of the plants natural sugars running to the buds all the way to the end . so they end up with a much sweeter taste with my Ladies n Fert feed ... i often let the last buds on my revegs dry out on the stems n never had one i didnt like to date :)

Hehe, I've got like a zip of shit i forgot about in a flush bucket, dried on the vine :lmao:
It is pretty heavy bake-wise, i ain't gonna lie. But its got a weird flavor I can't place. It'll make good hash i'm sure.
