well i got 1 plant i just noticed this morning looks like it maybe has mites. i have gotten a few clones over the past month so thats why i am thinking mites. i took all the mothers out of the tent and sprayed them all with neem oil. the clones look great very healthy no marks on the leaves but i spayed them all and the walls and floor of the tent just incase. i have 2 rooted clones of the plant that look infested should i just chuck it and start a new mom. the others look OK its just the Chem-D x BB that has it im gonna put up a few pics let me no what you think if it looks like mites or another problem. just weird that the clones look great that is the only way i could have brought them into the grow.

and the moms are in Quarantine for now a sprayed them all 3 times so far. i am praying there not mites i had them 1 other time and it was the same thing they only attacked my Sweet Tooth plants they had good taste they left the others alone. but i am glad i caught it early so i can take care of the problem before it gets out of hand.

That be mites my friend. Otherwise known as the borg.
Use an eye loupe to check the undersides of the leafs. You will see something like this -

https://www.opengrow.com/uploads/1273327909/med_gallery_833_383_120973.jpg

Thing about using neem on mites..
Neem kills mites by preventing them from molting. It basically coats them and prevents them from shedding their exoskeleton.
P-Bombs and SMC or Floramite work great though.

also if i set off a p-bomb in my tent 4'x4'x7' with my moms and new clones will the clones be able to handle it. i would guess there will be a strong concentration of gas in the tent. or would i be better off opening up the tent and setting it off in the room the 2 tents are in the room its small like 8'x9'x 7-1/2'
any info would be great cause i no the horror these guys can bring. i caught it real early i already buried the ESP that looked infested. i have a couple cuts to replace it. all the clones look great no marks at all and the other moms look fine to but i have still been spraying everything every couple hours just in case. and i want to set off a bomb to but i do not want to kill my cuts.

Yes, Pyrethum.
Dont drop it in the closed tent. Place it in the room with the tents opened up. 24 hours after dropping, rinse leafs with water to remove residue.

i put down drop cloths all over the room to cover things i got a nice flat screen in there along with other things i do not want sprayed. i am going this morning to get a P-Bomb at the Depot i caught it early so i hope this does the trick since i seen it yesterday i have been spraying with neem oil.
so i am gonna give it a good spray with just water to wash off as much of the neem as possible let it dry then set off the Bomb.
i am boggled on how i got them because all the clones and the other mothers have not one mark on them. they all look great it was just that 1 mother that had them. if they came with the cuts you would think the cuts would have them but all the cuts look great.
is it possible i brought them in from my outdoor garden? i am out there daily and then i hang out in the room were my tents are to go on the computer.
and that Floramite is that a GH product?

here is the room everything is covered even the fans and ballast behind the tent. before i set off the bomb i am gonna shut down all the fans and maybe all but 1 light since i do not think its a good idea to have anything electrical running i think those Bombs are flammable but i am not positive.

Yes, chances are you brought them in from outside. Outdoors is prime time for them right now. Work in your g-room before you go tend the outdoor garden! lol

Floramite is not a GH product. BTW, when you look for it, it comes in a hge bottle for like $300-400. But you don't need that. Look a bit more and you will see small bottles for like $35-40. The small bottle will treat a 10x10 g-room for 3-4 crops. It works great though.
SMC is another awesome product for the borg.
Usage tip for either SMC or Floramite -
Spray plants, especially undersides of leafs 3 days after dropping the p-bomb. 24 hours later, rinse leafs with water. Then repeat every 3 days for 4 treatments. Mites will be gone.

Hot shot no pest strips are great for prevention, but only use them in the veg room. The vapor contains a poison, which I don't want to have on the buds I am smoking. But in veg room they are great.
Hope that helps bro.

yea that's allot of good info but i ended up just P-Bombing them i still have 2 hours till i can open the room should i re-peat this again i have 2 more cans. i tarped everything off and pulled everything out onto the tarp spayed the 2 tents with a water & bleach solution then bombed. there was a few types there but only 1 that had any pyrethrum. here is what i got and the ingredients is this OK?

That should do the trick.
I usually get the 2 oz. P-Bombs at the hydro shop.

Don't drop a 2nd bomb. Follow the above recommendations. After the 4th treatment of SMC/Floramite, if you still have them, repeat the entire process.

it could have been Thrips!!! whatever it was i am pretty sure i brought them in from my outside grow. cause the cuts i just received are un-touched there all very healthy looking. i sprayed and bombed everything i am pretty sure i can wipe them out since they never fully took hold since i caught it early. and today i am going to the hydro shop to get some Floramite i have to many clones currently that i do not want to lose. so i am going to do what Useless said just to be 100% sure my strains are secured. i got some sweet gear that i want to keep around for awhile. i am gonna have to start doing bonsai mothers or the motherless metod to keep them all going since i have very little space. its hard to keep these all going in a 3' x 1-1/2' x 6' size tent and i only have half that space for plants as the cloner takes up the other half of the tent. i have been looking at DDM's Bonsai moms so i think i can swing keeping these all going in that space. i got the following clone only cuts now with a few more on standby! and i got my eyes on a few other cuts i just have to talk to my buddy about that first. ;):icon_smil

Berm x G13
Dabney Blu
KKSC
Pre98 Bubba
Original Diesel
Original Diesel S1
Pre2K DJ's Blueberry
E.S.P(East Side Pride)= Chem-D x Blueberry
NL Basic#5 x Haze
Romulan
Black Domina

sometime this week i should have a Purple Buddha(Purp pheno) a White Buddha=(White Rhino x Purple Buddha) coming and possibly 1 or 2 others. and i will be getting some male and female seeds of the PB, and male & fem pollen from the PB so i can make some feminized crosses. the pollen was made using STS so it should be good i noticed allot of breeders have been using the STS. i wish i had a good sized space to setup like 3 good sized rooms a veg area, a flower area, and a space for popping seeds to look for new keepers and to make crosses. i got a couple .999 Silver dollar's i seen a way to make STS with them using just batteries or a DC converter you connect roach clips to the 2 wires so you can connect them to the coin and put it in the water.
and soon enough i will have some Pineapple Express its just the (C99 Pineapple pheno) and a sweet cut of White Rhino.

Not thrips. They do leave similar looking damage to the leafs, but the thrips damage is longer, more like a grain of rice/oblong/oval shape than a round spot like mites, and slightly larger.

yep, now by looking closer, looks more like mites.

I have some stuff that is used on strawberrys and blueberrys for mites....it disrupts thier breeding cycle and kills :)
