i hate bugs!!!!!

Hey guys I'm hoping you can help me!
In my grow spaces I've noticed these tiny fly like bugs in my cabs! Wat are they and do they
Damage my plants? Cause I've noticed these thin shinny snail like trails on some leaves and it looks
Like its making holes in the leaves! I think these flys are the cause! I'm sorry I can't post pics my pc
Is in for repairs and I'm writting this from my phone!

Any advice on these annoying bugs and wat I could use to elimnate anybugs from my cabs I don't mi
Using poisens but would prefer something more oraginix and any advice how to keep them away once
I remove them!

It sounds like you have thrips. I'm doing battle with them now myself and hope to have them extinct soon.

I use sprays on the plants and have used a bug bomb from home depot 2x so far. My plants didnt like the bombs too much, so I'm going to try and avoid it this week and use just my sprays and "no pest strips". If they reapear, I will pick up a bomb from the local hydro store that are designed for plants.

The problem with bugs is you can't defeat them in one treatment. You can kill them off until the next round of eggs hatch, then they are back. You need to kill them off again before they have a chance to lay more eggs.

The first step is making a positive ID of your invaders, then learn their life cycle and what condiitions they thrive in. Sometimes an adjustment in room temp or humidity is enough to slow down their reproduction rate.

Second, pick your battle plan. Are you in veg stage or flowering? Are you willing to use chemicals, or are you determined to stay organic?

There is alot of advise on these forums if you use the search function. Some are more extreme than others. Use them to pick your battle plan and use that treatment according to their life cycle. You need to hit them after they hatch, but before they lay more eggs.

Thrips live in the soil during their larve stage, so remember to treat that too. I have a hydro system and am using mosquito dunks in my reserviour for the larve, AzaMax for a spray, and a room fogger when I get an outbreak. I'm also adding a few no pest strips today. I'm at the end of week 2 and dont expect to win the battle until at least week 3.
