whats my problem??

hi folks, my plants are not looking so well, and i worry about them, can somebody tell me what is wrong with them what do they need or what do they have to much?
here is a picture of my sensi stars, they are now since 10 day in 12/12 they grow but the leafs turn light green to yellow as you can see.

Overall the plants look hungry to me. Youve got a Mg deficiency going on for sure. Check your runoff pH to make sure your withing proper range...6.5-7.0 and feed those babies!

the thing is and what i don´t understand, i give them the fertelizer, and one of my friends told me now that maybe the roots are full of saltcristals so the can´t take the fedding i give to them, also we have a problem with the water here in barcelona, but i give them always water what i take minimum 24 hours before i give to the plants,... cani put canna flush to clean the soil and flush out the saltcristals with this stuff?? i have in the same growbox (homebox xxl) a scrog going on (look at the picture ;-) ) the scrog is very healthy and doing very good,

Growing herb is remarkably simple. Growers tend to over analyze things to much. I was taking a shot in the dark with such little info. Knowing youve been feeding them this would be my absolute starting point....

1) FLUSH using ph adjusted water, 3x container volume. Check runoff pH

2) If pH is good, which I tend to believe its not due to the issues your having, give a half strength feeding.

Knowing what youve said now, Id say you have several issues going on. The MOST important aspect of growing MJ in my opinion is PH. If your pH is not in proper range you will lockout of certain nutrients causing deficiencies and salt buildups which only lead to more problems. You HAVE to get that pH under control and that requires an immediate flush to rid the soil of any buildups that may have accumulated and make adjustments as necessary.

With the pH in proper range diagnosis and adjustments are simple. But again PH is everything!

So your first move is FLUSH FLUSH FLUSH and get that pH within range. Once its in range pick up where you left off feeding at only half strength so you dont harm them anymore than necessary and work your way up to full strength.

i thought that i had to flush them, i will check on the PH and flush flush flush till everything is alright with the PH.

if i have again a question i will give more infomation, at first, like what kind of soil and all about the setup, that makes an analyz from the outherside of the world more easy

next one will be better again, and in nearly two mounths the outdoor season starts in spain, what is anyway my favorite way.

as for outdoors in spain it must be great you must pull 1-2 pounds a plant there... you can grow all kinds of sativa's and indica's out there from what i hear there is some great growing conditions. hope to see some pics of some monster bush's :thumbsup:
you must be able to pull 2 grows each season out there with some wicked results. do you do your outdoor grows from seeds or clones? also what strains do you plan to run, i bet most strains must thrive out there but i bet there are some that really go crazy in those conditions giving you amazing results. i wish i had a grow season like that i would blow it up :icon_smil
just curious but arent the laws really relaxed about growing out there.


like i no for sure out here i need a fast finisher and over the seasons i have noticed a few strains that do very well in our conditions. the pre98 Bubba, E.S.P, Dabney Blu, Bermese x G13, T44, and Blue Buddha. those strains i noticed really thrived over other strains we tried. and those were the only strains that fully finished there cycle around here. so thats what we try to use those strains for about 70% of each grow sometimes 50% and the others are new genetics we think might do well here.

yep spain is cool for growing outdoors, my mate growed the 2046 from medical seeds last year and he had 1.2 kg from one plant ;-) the rest around 800g per plant ;-) this strain is a very strong strain and it needs 100-120 days in flower..... but in our klima it worked perfect, but u can only grow that strain in a scrog....
i growed also some plants but i planted them in smaller pots so they were not sooooo big but still big and nice, and tasty,..... i start here in a few weeks with the first automatix (fastbud de sweetseeds) we can harvest the automatix 3 times a year what makes waiting for the rest easyer....
i had different strains outdoor , load pics up later ;-)
i saw your outdoor work, wow DUDE RESPECT... realy nice...
this year i will grow also one outdoorscrog and some bushes (i hope)

i was thinking also it is an N problem and i gave them more N as u can see in the picture now they start to create hawkclaws what is a to wet soil and maybe to much N
i flushed them 2 days ago and i sprayd now with epsonsalt solution, and now it looks like the plants get the color back, but i will see this in the next days,

i used to use 1-2tsp. per gallon of water and give it every other watering but i find its not needed i have not used it in the past few grows. as long as its getting all it primary and secondary nutes the plants should be fine. i also swear by using Magical or Cal-Mag from what i read it takes care of lots of small things that can go wrong like a Mag deficency ect.

also those plants look sweet wish i had your climate i would blow it up :thumbsup:

hey Delta, whats this stuff you are talking about (Magical and Cal-Mag)...
is it something you add to the feeding? because if it helps protect from things like that i would really like to start using it being that i am so scared of losing plants because I am new at it ......i cant get pics up atm my phone wont upload.... but my one purple kush plant to me is looking like it is starting to turn a limeish color .. now i just put it in a 10 gallon pot 4 days ago and gave it food 2 days ago it is still in veg for another couple weeks with a 400 mh i am hoping it will get big !!!! then when i flower it i should have a nice plant... well I hope .. I am starting slow and it is going to be the only one going in atm so room is not a problem.....does this all sound ok ? let me have it guys !!! i can take it lol .... i will try getting pics soon..... thanks guys !!!: pipe:

yea they give the plants Calcium and Magnesium!!!
the Magical is made by Technaflora. im not sure who makes Cal-Mag but all hydro shops would have it. Mag deficency is the most common problem people have when growing and using this along with your regular nutrient regiment will help the plants stay very healthy and strong.
once i start feeding the veg nutes i will use it all the way up untill the flush.
give it a try i bet you will like it there are other brands also not just those 2 brands there just the ones they stock up on i have used both and they work the same.

ok great that sounds good I will look into getting some would it be ok to start using it being that it has been getting feed for awhile now or does it not matter when you start using it?
