so i soaked a cube in 6.0 ph'd water mixed with some rooting hormone and a drop of superthrive for a few hours...then sliced it down the side, and wrapped it arround a branch. i wrapped a paper towel arround that, that had been soaked in the same solution. around that i wrapped plastic wrap...loosely. what do u think?
will it:
1. Live?
2. Die?
3. Live and die creating an amising new breed...the living dead maple tree?
Happy Rooting, i hope :pimp:

How about apple trees GG. Here in Michigan we just cut of a limb, and stick it in the ground, they take right off.

Hey GG, just to answer your question. The maple tree will live but it may take awhile to root. I looked into starting a nursery awhile back. Almost any plant can be cloned but hard woods take much longer to root. As long as its alive keep waiting cuz it will root sooner or later.
