Photo Shop Programs

i was wondering if anyone can help me out and suggest a PS program. :snapshot:
i want to get a decent program for my computer nothing real expensive just something that i can use to re-size pics, and maybe to label my pics to.
the photo program that came with the Comp does not do much or i just cannot figure it out. LOL but my last Comp came with a great program i could do lots of things with it. so any suggestions would be cool so i can take a look into the different programs and see what is best for me. : pipe:
i got some amazing detailed macro pics in 12.2mp that i just cannot achieve on the 3mp setting.

Picasa, it is free and has lots of editing options as well as an organizer for your photos...I love it!

i got it all downloaded seems nice for a free program but i cannot find how to re-size the pics. any help is very much appreciated... :blazed:

Ya know, I never resize myself. I have my camera set up so the pics are automatically the right size for uploading. I will tinker with it and see if I can figure it out...

I see an option to resize when you export a picture from the program...click on export, then it will ask you a few options, then put that photo on your desktop, in a folder, at whatever size you chose...hope that helps :bongdude:

cool i will check that out :thumbsup: i do the same thing i put my Camera on the correct setting to have no probs uploading. but i took some close ups in 3mp then tryed to get some in 12.2mp and its so much more crisp and detailed it picked up each individual Trich it was so clear at 3mp its like a blur big time difference.

Glad you like it. I have been using it for the last few years now and I would never pay money for a different program. It does everything I need it to do and more!
