Why is it that Danny Dank can't answer people's questions about his strains and how they obtained? Also...why does he edit people's posts that call him on it? Hmmmmm...not getting MY business at ALL! Bad form if you ask me. This is what you promote Web420?

Sorry...i just feel that a breeder should offer ANY info on their strain if they ask someone to purchase their stock....to make shit up and edit people's posts is so un-profressional. Where can we place BAD reports on breeders Web? I don't live in a rose colored world where everything is peachy and these guys send up my warning flags as scam artists. Shit...I'll give YOU guys some of MY beans to grow out...then tell me if YOU wanna buy from me. : p

BBSB Forum is for support, maybe Hill Billy didnt ask the right question?

They can do what ever they want with there forum, untill you have proof about their genetics from growing them out, you have nothing.
Just because they dont answer your questions dont mean any thing.

Hummmmmmmmmm
I dont like that a breeder can edit a members post in their forum. I understand it is there forum but how would you know if there is a problem Mr. 420?

What did HB post say to make DDD edit the post?

Maybe a delete instead of edit, till you ok it? I believe there has been problems with other breeders editing members post in the past?

IMO - The breeders here are auction sellers trying to become breeders.
A breeder will put out there info and post some real grow pics. Not just a description of a product. Look at HOG & Rushmans forum, NOTHING. Just a waste of space if you asked me. I will give BBSB credit for trying, aleast they have some info out. I think I figured out why HOG is not around here, you banned his partner.
my 2 cents

Well, I let the breeders control there forums so i dont have too.
I will think about taking away the edit button, or find a mod to watch there forums. I did not know about the edit untill the topic above.

Herbgrower...Info is always great, maybe they will add more as time goes on. It will only hurt them if they don't.

In a way your right Scorpion_King, they are auction sellers mainly.
I would love for all the breeders to put up pics and tons of there info, but i dont control it. It is up to the breeder. again it will only hurt them if they don't.

Hog & Rushman forum might be going away, Its been almost 2 months since Hog posted in his forum and Rushman is not around. if its not getting use, there is no reason for it to be there.
Yes..P4P was banned, Hog forum was put up after the banning.
But that is not why Hog is not here posting.

I posted this in the breders forum, too. It may well be deleted there and I would like it seen by the community. Thanks for your support webby, sparky, sfc, ect.

I had a li'l outburst there. In over 10 years on the net, that was the first time I've ever been called a "troll". I didn't like it...not a little bit. And as a result, fell into their trap and posted my own name calling rant.
I apologize. Those that know me , know that's not my style.

I asked those pertinant questions for the benefit of the entire community. I asked basic, simple questions. When I got the same old run-around over and over, I became persistant.

Fact is, anyone can make seeds, and many flaws in selection, or flaws in breeding practice, are easily cloaked by hybrid vigor in F1 filia. But a few genertions down the line will devuldge exactly what the breeders were really up to.

Most everything in their stock is F1 crosses or "femenized", from P1 stock, I would "guesse", (cause they ain't tellin). And, since they refuse to answer the question, one must naturally assume that they are useing hermi pollen on unproven females for the "femmd" varieties, and either open pollination or early P1 males. I have no choice.

if U don't trust them , then don't deal with them. its as simple as that. for fucks sake we already are taking a risk growing. No need to add to that risk.

What does "taking a risk growing" have to do with the "over pricing of sub-standard seeds" ?
this is about exposure, or disclosure of their breeding practices. The prices are right inline with "reputable" breeders, that do and have been implimenting rigid guidelines in their breeding programs for many years, testing hundreds if not thousands of plants, and selecting only the best. That is the reason folks like dj short, shantibaba and nevil, can and do get $10 a seed for their wares.
Is it in the interest of the community, in general, to let a novice or anyone else for that matter, pay unworthy prices?
