the demise of the human race is not based on over population but due to greed and laziness imo:salute:

I try to 'deviate from the norm' as much as I can these days. 'Life' as it is force fed to us is rather boring. :blue:

Herb.....curious what you mean when you say life is 'force fed' to us.
Can you digress?

I mean how society SAYS we should conduct our lives. It's fed to us thru the media as well as other outlets. If you don't fit into the 'normal' way of living life you are considered an outcast. Guess I just don't like following the herd is all. Been there done that and it's not for me.

I agree with ya on that....best to make your own path in life and follow your own gut instincts and heart. Following others beliefs or so forth is not being an individual... :D

Nuttier then squirrel turds..LOL :p
Intelligent convos are a good thing! ;)

i gotchya on that sparko...ur supposed to go to work to pay the bills and have things,

rather than work in the fields and raise chickens n pigs n hunt n fish so that you can live.

which is a question i urge all to ask themselves. do i live to work? or do i work to live? is this how i want to spend my one life on this earth?

:pimp:

I asked myself that very question long ago Goblin....I'm now working to live. So long as my needs are provided for I am cool. Anything else on top of that is gravy to me. :smoke2:

well...we should start a new club.

not the "Overachievers Club"

not the "Highest Sales Club" - 'cept sellin herbage maybe-

or the "I own a big yacht and think my shit smells like tulips"

maybe the "through learning from my mistakes and the mistakes of others, we have found that society today is no longer a friendly society, we have also learned that we do not want unfriendly peeps around us, therefore unless you begin feeling the same way we do...do ur thing, and leave us the hell alone!...Club"

Happy livin' :pimp:

Agreed life as its force fed to us is unappealing imo also. Ive met homeless folks that shared words of wisdom with me that have never left my mind to this day. Ive also met wealthy folks who for lack of a better word(s) were about as dimwitted and socially unacceptable(on a rude note) as they come.

We are probably one of the most diverse tribes on the face of this planet considering how many different types of people inhabit the United States which is a wonderful thing I believe. At the same time greed, our drive for money and material things has really put a damper on that imo. We are a depressed culture in many ways I think weve experienced first hand what living for money and materialism does to the human psyche.

Well said SD! :beerchug:

I think ppl who have little are MORE appreciative then those who are spoiled with luxaries have a better grip on what living life is about IMO.
Never know...the homeless may very well be the teachers to those who cant survive on their own in the future. ;)

I find life in general very boring. The only thing that I find of any interest is the fact that all 6 billion of us are all different. I try to love you all for the short time that I'll be here. :hippie: It's very hard sometime to be accepting of others and their differences. I think our "demise" is that out of 6 billioin motherfuckers there are gonna be a few hundred million that just don't get it. So I guess gg, overpopulation could be the problem. As Albert Einstein said, "it has become appalling clear that our technology has surpasssed our humanity". ramble ramble ramlbe ramble.
