Yikes!!!!

My dog caught this...do any of you know what kinda spider this is? It's about the size of a dime......The first pic is of it's top, the second, the underside....and WTF are those fang lookin things on it's head?!?!?!:eek:

I fucking hate spiders,.....I have been scared shitless of them ever since I was 5 years old and I woke up with a big hairy one on my arm. :eek: Don't know what kind of spider that is though......

Probably just a wolf spider. Remember DoU no poisonous spiders come from our greatlake state. Brown recluses occasionally hitch a ride though.

That is what i told her SFC but she don't listen ;) She also believes Black Widows live here :bongdude:
She actually read it on here that both spiders live here but i have Never seen neither,so i don't believe it.I couldn't see them lasting 10 seconds with the winters we have :eek:

They are not fang's Duj ,they are "palps" or something like that,they use them to check out their prey.
It look's to me like it is a "Huntsman" or Wolf" spider,not sure if you guy's get them over there or not. :thumbsup:

The funnel web spiders are cool. We had one living next to our porch . We would feed him bugs. As soon as they touch the web he was dead on their ass. I think black widows do inhabit the very southern edge of Michigan,but I am not positive. Also a black widow cannot kill a healthy person.

They are relativelypassive and don't "attack" ya !!!!

I have seen one of these thing's hunt another spider and the speed and ferocity at which it hit was un-real. :eek:
