I personally soak my bean's before i plant them, they just seem to not have as much trouble shedding the outer husk after they have sprouted when i've done it this way. ;)
I usually have a pretty good germination rate too.
Any other grower's out there do this or am i the only one?

i personally don't soak. I have done it both ways. I usually place between wet paper towels, in glad tupperware, in a warm dark place. Most beans pop within 24 hours

the hubby soaks his for 24 hours before he germs them in papertowels. We've always had a 100% germ rate ;)

This time when i soaked them i didn't have time to put them in paper towel. They cracked right in the water,Afghani,NYCD,Bubbleicious, one Afghani died already. The stem turned really skinny to where it couldn't hold it's self up.I used Rockwool which i never do,i think i'm going back to just planting them right in the dirt after germing :rasta2:

I just stick them in the soil and let them do their thing..Every bean I have planted in my MJ growing career thus far has sprouted so I don't plan on doin anything different. :icon_smil

I use the ol' wet paper towel method myself. Works for me!

Ive done all ways.
Glass of water, wet paper towel, and soil.
They have all worked 90% or better.
I germed mine in soil this time. Out of 18 seeds.....17 of them went and are currently tearin ass.
I figured this way I only have to move them once.....*drop*. Glass of water and paper towels are just another hassel i dont have time to deal with. :blaze:
