Fact is once again they have made themselves look like animals again ith their own actions. The hurricane had barely moved inland ,and they were already looting. Not looting just survival gear, which is totally understandable, No, they were taking things of absolutely no use to them.So now the only way to salvage any dignity is to blame the White Man, especially Bush. New Orleans in 2000 had almost 1.4 million people in it. Majority are black and while racism is a fact in everyplace. But don't tell me its hard as a black man .. Its hard as a poor man. Money is the only thing that seperates us. had this hurricane hit a another metroplitan area and caused the same damage i think you would still see the ame people on TV. Poor people of all colors

Affirmative action should be gone PERIOD. I would not want someone to tell me I was hired because I was Irish or white. That would really piss me off and make me feel inadequate.

The War on Drugs comes into play here. If you had a choice of slinging crack on a corner and making about 5K or more a day or working a McDonalds for $5.25 an hour what would you do? I mean give this choice to a kid and he picks the money 9.5 times out of ten. They are making this choice easy for these kids and youngsters hell some adults by keeping it illegal. I do not condone what they did by any means but I think I have a good point.

The fac that we have places in America that police WONT GO INTO is testament to that. If a cop won't go WHO WILL? The system we have in place right now is enabling these kids to make bad choices and grow up feeling left out of society.

Make drugs worthless on the street and it would be a large step in the right direction. Instead of keeping them illegal and creating a black market for them.

A good example of this is Marijuana. You get busted for possesion or ANYTHING and you are fucked. Your career aspirations are over. SO what does a guy do then. Instead of smoking or growing he starts selling it. Then he gets busted and goes to jail. Now he gets out and he is a hardened criminal with no real future ahead of him. ALL BECAUSE HE SMOKED WEED!!
