Default How do you dry your harvest?

I hang mine in my veg chamber for 3-4 days then do the manicure.
I prefer dry leaves to trim then wet ones....my shears dont get clogged that way. Although I will occasionally get the flying dry leaf in the eye . After that....I replenish my stash....and let the majority sit in a jar in the cupboard.

How does everyone else dry their smoke?

Like to manicure at chop time like nobo, it does clog the shears bigtime but I prefer fresh leaves as opposed to dried leaves for chopping its just easier imo with a leafy strain you can cut them how you want them easily without having to constantly pick them off of the buds in order to chop. The Fan leaves and any portions of leaf that arent completely covered in trichomes get the cut.

Hang them up on coat hangers in a dark closet with the door open and a fan going for a few days then stuff them in a paper sack for a day... from there its into the jars for curing. I open those once or twice a day for half an hour(all depending) will leave the jars in a covered cardboard box under the bed pulling them out and opening them everyday until the process is done.

Once they seem cured enough I'll put them in the fridge in jars(sealed and bagged properly!) and they seem to stay fresh like that forever. When in need will pull a jar out of the fridge and put it in a small box under the bed then pull what I need from it daily until its gone....Love the taste and smell of fresh cured herb nothing like it.

If you manicure and bag the buds as soon as they're harvested, it starts the curing process right away, as they dry.
Meaning less time spent getting them to optimum smoking condition.

i preferr a slow roast over open flame, unless i'm gonna smoke it.

ne way this time im takin something off of a video i saw...the box with strings stretched across...only im leaving the box closed and taping paper(from paper bag) to the top.

im gonna hang em in the box after cutting the big stuff off. say 2 weeks...then im off to the bad lands for my bro's wedding. not much of a choice on weather its done or not...i hope it is cause it'd suck to get there with a whole bunch of mold.

any thoughts?

ill get pics later on and add...if i feel like it

I cut the stalks and place on a paper bag that's been split open and laid flat. Cover with another split bag and leave in a dark room. On the 3rd day, I trim the leaves but leave the buds on their stems and place back on the bags returning to the dark. on the 7th day, I cut the buds of the stalks into glass jars/zip lock bags that get opened twice daily for a week.... Nice aroma, smooth taste in 14 days...The rest gets better as time goes on.
