Default DC3's Lemonberry Micro-Grow

Things have changed a lot for me over the last few years and I’ve gone from 2000W of lighting, 2 grow rooms, expensive nutes and a fair few meters and gadgets etc…to having to give up growing and smoking.

But awhile back a good mate who took some of my gear when I gave it up offered me a Lemonberry clone that was not rooting very well and I thought I’d give it a go again and see what I could do with it.

So here is my cheap-ass Fusion Seeds Lemonberry Micro-grow.
I’m using garden dirt…my nutes are supermarket cheapies Nitrosol 8-3-6 for veg and Fruit MAX 5-8-12 for flower and I’m going to borrow a little PK 13/14 in a few weeks…I’ve also borrowed some Avid and Vectobac for bug control (thanks buddy)…and my lighting is 4 x 13W warm white LED’s and 2 x 13W daylight LED’s.

I have topped her a few times and tied her down to accommodate the space I have so hopefully I shall have a bit of bud for the Xmas holidays.

These pictures are from just after I went 12/12 and the lighting I’m using.

Wish me luck

Good to see you back with it ! I also just got started again after a while off . I was fortunate to have my equip packed away and stored for years. And a friend passed me a bunch of unopened nutes to get started . Like riding a bike tho for me to get rolling again . Looks like the same going for you over there she’s looking happy so only a matter or time now if only I had some of the genetics I had back then ... miss my bb’s. X!!

Cheers Webby...I'm really loving doing a bit of gardening and as F420 said 'like riding a bike again'.
I do wish I had all my old gear back but I am finding these LED's good value and can't wait to see how much my lone girl can produce.

Time for some more pic’s…these are taken @day 32 of flowering.

The leaves are getting a bit frosty and that lovely lemon smell is very present now. I think she’s doing okay but I’ve had a few problems to work with that are starting to show their impact now.

Firstly I had some bugs on the leaves which looked like Thrips or White Fly so I spayed them with a product specifically for them but it couldn’t shake them…there only seemed to be just a couple of white eggs on each fan leaf but it didn’t eradicate the little feckers, so after many sprays I decided to use a spider-mite spray and that didn’t seem to work either. The result of all of that spraying is the leaves have been abused a bit too much and look a bit sad.

The other problem comes from the garden soil I used…it was a very rich soil but when I gave it a drenching the soil went a bit muddy and I’ve had problems getting it to dry out and that has caused oxygen and uptake problems, even had roots growing vertically out the top, yikes…needed to add some perlite or a coarse potting mix in hindsight.

And just to add insult I burnt and scorched some leaves by having a halogen bulb way too close (The halogen was only in the cabinet to add some heat to aid the soil to dry out).

But anyway I’m still on to get a good bit of smoke in time for the xmas holidays.
